For that price I would get it and try to fix the starting problem. Try negotiating with him you could probable get it for closer to 5000.

Do you have a DSMlink? If so use it to see what is going on with you motor. If not, consider getting it.

I would suggest going with the DSMlink, it will give you the ability to control the fuel flow, rpm, and many other important settings. As far as understanding how to use it, just search the forums for a guide. I was able to find a very helpful one a little while back. Unfortunately I seen to...

Replacing the broken hatch struts. Got them off ebay for 30 bucks. It's nice to finally be able to put stuff in the back of the car.

Does anyone know if my 95 Talon (which is equipped with the OBD II scanner) will have to pass the OBD II inspection? Or, since it is a 95 will it only need to pass the safety inspection? Any input from people who have experienced this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would either buy the universal kit, or check eBay for a pipe kit. Save the money and remember that pipes are pipes.

If the coolant lines are currently the originals, I would replace them simply because of their age. You don't want them to fail later and cause damage to your turbo. Better safe than sorry.

Check the gaping on your spark plugs. I had a similar problem after installing new plugs and I later found out I gaped them the wrong amount.

I would try checking all of the tapped connections to make sure none of them are grounding out on any metal. I had a similar problem in a Grand Am, and it turned out it was a bad tape job on the power wire for the radio. It would touch metal and ground out causing all of my electronics to go...

I actually haven't removed any of the emissions yet because its too darn cold right now here in New York haha. But when I do I am afraid of throwing a CEL. If I leave the solenoids plugged in would it prevent the CEL?

I have a bunch of broken bolts in it, and its a bit rusty. I guess I will just take it out, drill out the bolts, and repaint it. I was hoping it would be cheap just to buy a new one.

Did you have to upgrade you transmission to handle greater force of the clutch engaging and disengaging?

I was looking into buying a braided clutch line from the master cylinder directly to the slave, but I realized it will bypass the clutch damper. Is there any negative effects of removing the damper?
