well the price difference between 10 quarts of Valvoline High Mileage ATF +4 and a bottle of the lubegard and 10 quarts of the Diamond fluid from the dealership is only about $6. I will probably just go with the dealership and put what is recommended since the price is the same.

I am trying to get this car back together as cheaply as possible and after doing some reading I havent found much of an answer. Anyone here use just ATF+4 or something equivalent? I don't want to spend $80 on stuff from the dealership. This is a complete refill not just a filter change...

I was just taking apart my engine tonight and found a torn up balance tensioner belt. So I am going to be doing the elimination while I have the engine out. Thanks for the link. its very helpful

they should almost all work for your car, aside from some of the body panels like the rear bumper would require the tail lights and other parts like that, but the drive parts like head turbo and all that are the same.

yeah I have a buddy that deals in fox body mustangs.for that reason exactly, automatics are faster in general because it removes the driver error factor. Plus I have my RX-7 that is a manual, and my Passat 1.8t is a manual also.If i get enough from the part out I may try to pick up...

I am gonna try to get my talon done this week. I decided to go ahead and finish the blue 96 and decide what to do with the red 95 later. I may part it out. Bump for ideas for a meet.

I am sort of in the same boat, I was looking at getting a engine online and from what I have read its best to just stick with what came in there from the factory, it will save you money and time in the long run for sure.

There is a leak somewhere I think. The brakes have to be pumped up in order for them to work, the car has a bad transmission so its under construction now. I bought it in the condition its in so I'm not sure what caused the brake issue. I will probably have to just go over the system and...
