hey guys, i searched for this but didnt find what i wanted so ill ask straight up. i currently have a busted 7 bolt in my talon, thinking of maybe a 6 bolt swap...in that case will i need a new tranny also to match the 6 bolt? or will the 7 bolt fit? :thumb:

ok dont be rude vette... and yess take the duct tape off the bov and recir asap. that may be the problem or may be something else. idle sensor clean? all spark plugs good? and their wires? air filter clean? vacuum lines all tight?

blt first. check your spark plugs. check your fuel pump and its filter. what psi are you boosting? could be anything really but well help you close in on it just send us a lil more info

well cars in buddys shop like i said, but on the night it happened, afterwards while i was bring the car to a stop, clutch was perfectly fine,didnt feel any different(i would know if the clutch went out...(went thru a few on my weekend warrior GTI) went in and out of gears with no problem and...

see im thinking it is the drive shaft. just from where the clunk came from and the way the engine still engaged power, just didnt transfer to wheels...and as for the electrical problem maybe it pulled some wires ont he way out. i didnt get fully under it before towin it. ill update status tom.

youre not answering my question tho. whats that sensor sitting there where a CAS wuld be if it were 6 bolt. i know for sure head atleast is 7 bolt. and all pics of 7 bolt heads tehre is no sensor there...so what is that sensor?

check the wires and plug and make sure its plugged in properly to sensor. if is trace wires make sure there is connection all the way...if all that is good, get a new horn

lol well im not exactly sure what the CAS should look like...if its that cylinder thing with the sensor attached...i dont have that...but i DO have a sensor bolted onto the block where the CAS should be.......so basically i have that black missing space there, but a bolted up sensor(not sure if...

see the thing is that i have a sensor right there where the CAS should be for a 6 bolt. so it looks like a 7 bolt head, but in the picture above theres no sensor there. ill see if i can get a pic of my engine bay and let you guys tell me whats up.

well my ignition coil i just baught was from a 91 and the pattern and coil works perfect...but i do have the setup in the pic you have posted. so is that 7 bolt head, 6 bolt block??

all details aside, ive had this BOV for a few months,(switched over from a turbo xs) and its great. sound isnt too whistlely for me, no boost leaks, and looks to be holding up pretty well under my 23 psi. highly recommended by me.

i dont have an intake mani or any CAS that look like the ones you have pictured...so i dont really knwo what that means...6bolt block and 7 bolt head?! inform me!! and what does this mean for my cam situation.if i had an accessible camera to snap some pics i would but i do not have one at...

oookkk gotcha gotcha. the guy i bought from 6 montsh ago said it had a mbc...but i have yet to find it, and im not new to turboed cars (bulit my own 513hp gti and well 3 other cars also) so i would think i could find a mbc if it were there...just cant find it..what a buzz kill to here about...

and like stated before, logger is important, duh, but that adjustable fpr will also smooth this out and allow you to use your injectors to full potential!i like reading this thread bc someone is actually listening and results are being posted! just what some of us other 16gers need!

ok well i just bought the car not too long ago. and i bought it from a good for nothing a****** whose pretty much hosed me over on everytihng hes said about the car. the only real info he could give me that it has a 16g on a 6bolt engine. so i do not know whether or not the HG has been replaced...

youll hit your 300+hp goal without cams. with the proper tune.

so i know you all are gonna say "dont you hit the search button?". i did, this is a little different and i need some face up help. all of my oil has been drained outa my engine and sucked into the coolant, i know this because the overflow is nothing but oil, no coolant left, and engine is dry...
