Are there spray cans of fiberglass resin? That would be awesome, all I found are expensive spray guns. I should probably get a roller then, because the brush didn't work well and it took 15 minutes to clean my hands after it.Also decided against using it as a sub enclosure since I'm new to...
Most of the snow is gone, and it was kinda warm today (35F) so I figured I'd start fiberglassing in the hatch. I haven't ever fiberglassed before so I started with the a rust hole in the hatch. That seemed easy enough, so then put down a roll of duct tape in the spare tire well, and started...
Ok, so the car is a 2G DSM (420A), there was a fire last last november in the engine compartment and now that it's getting nice out I tried to get the car going again today. After being towed home the car was squaling and buzzing from the fuse box in the engine compartmentand the dashboard...
Well, it doesn't matter if you face the sub into the enclosure or out of it, but you're going to need to seal the box so it's airtight and would want to fill it with something for dampening the sound (fiberglass insulation) since the steel in the hatch isn't an ideal sub box.

I guess for my first post I'll introduce my project to anyone reading this. My name is Chris, college student in upstate new york. I was getting really annoyed by driving an automatic for 2 years after my first car was a manual CRX; so, I saw my 2G Eclipse on craiglist one night and bought it...
So I'm going to be rewiring my 2GNT; relocating the battery, adding some things (power windows, locks, hinge actuators...), and basically replacing every piece of wire in the car. Sadly though, I haven't found much of anything for electrical supplies, main things I'd need are:Some suitable...
I guess i'll introduce myself since I'll probably be hanging around here for a while--- I bought a '97 Eclipse RS at the end of the summer, kind of an impulse buy because I couldn't stand driving an automatic anymore. So, I deffinetly overlooked the condition of the car. 180,000 miles, burning...
