Anyone know any other local import forums in Phoenix? I'm looking for anything import, so I can post up my cars for sale and extra parts I have. Thanks. :thumb:
Does anyone have the factory diagram for the wires for the 2g radios? My harness was hacked up by the previous guy. He just cut everything.:banghead: It's a mess!! A wire diagram would be super helpful! Thanks in advance fellow DSMers! Also I was reading on here if I have a factory amp I have...
I'll try and get a pic up in about 2 hours. Thanks for the quick replies man. The only problem is that the wires aren't factory colors. They are butt connectered together and what not.
I recently had my 7 bolt rebuilt. I installed everything back but I have a few questions about what wires go where for the alternator and the ofh gauges. If anyone has a wiring diagram or pics that would be super helpful! Thanks :thumb:I'm using all stock parts.
I got my 7 bolt motor back from the machine shop, hooked everything up and it runs!!! but, now i have an oil leak!!! i thought it was the ofh, so i ordered a new gasket......not the problem! i thought it was a crank seal...i broke the lower timing cover to see if thats where the oil was comming...
i think if you remove your balance shafts that increases oil pressure, not decreases.....which is why you port the oil relief to lower your oil pressure......can anyone agree or dissagree with this?
I live in Vegas and I just run 91 and have never had a problem. But I do know that the gas for a few months has more oxygen in it. It says so on the gas pumps.
I used a thread pitch gauge for my 2g fwd axels and it worked out to 22x1.5I bought a die from my snap on rep so I could re-thread my axels. Hope this helps........
Yea I'd say excessive crankcase pressure also. You have to have too much pressure in the block to push the dipstick out. Good luck bro! What color is the smoke? White? Black? Blue tint? You can usually tell if it's tubo, head gasket, or something else by the color of the smoke.
Defiantly start with maintenance. Timing belt and components. 16 g wouldn't be a bad idea as far as turbo as well as a must have wide band. Then I'd throw an ECM link on there with a 190 fuel pump and I'm sure you can fine some 550's on here pretty cheap. That will give you a lot more power in...
Rattle can can look decent if the body is straight. And I agree that white or flat or satin black are the easiest/best looking colors out of a rattle can on a car. It works for someone who doesnt have the 300+ dollars for a crappy cheap maaco paint job.
I'd build my own also. That way you know everything was done right and not Mickey Moused by someone else!! Then if something does brake or fail, you can't blame anyone but yourself.
You can get hids from eBay for 35 bucks all day long. All you have to do is search.I've got 12ks in my talon, 10ks in my doge truck headlighs and fog lights and I have 3ks and 12ks in my 2g eclipse. Not on problem ever. And they have a lifetime warranty.
