I was just wondering some of your guys opinions on wheel color. I'm trying to switch it up a bit, I have the stock 2g gst wheels, which I painted black. They look good but its getting kind of old. What other color would look good with the color of my car?? (check avatar or other pictures).

My alarm used to go off at random times when I had the security set too. I just bypass the alarm now by pressing the sensor at the bottom of the door jam while locking the door. Thats just the easy fix lol

yeah I bought an ebay MBC and same thing happened, really inconsistent boost. You get what you pay for though. go get a hallman, or I heard Joe P. makes a good MBC

I used the steering column boot for my boost guage hose as well, seemed to work well. If your wire is too short just splice it and add more wire

Sounds like the alternator. My car idles at about 550rpm's with no problem

My car was doing a similar thing earlier, but doesnt sound this bad. It would do the bogging every once in a while. I replaced the spark plugs and ran Seafoam product through my intake and after that it didn't do it. Just throwin an idea out there.

Yeah unless you are really comfortable removing the head, bring it to a shop. and like they said above ^^ theres a chance it could be warped, so definately check for that!

I had this same kind of thing happen with my 2g, my boost spiking that is. I installed a 1g bov and UICP, and after that I was spiking to about 17psi, but then it'd drop to 14. For some reason I installed a cheap MBC (Which didn't seem to work), so I later re-installed the stock BCS and...

Yeah check out that power transistor. I had this problem happen to my car and the shop started throwing out all of these possibilities and things they had to check. Of course the last thing they checked was the PT:toobad:

installing a fmic on a t25 isn't really going to make much of a difference, the stock smic is sufficient. On the stock t25, internals, fuel system, etc, I wouldnt run any more than 16psi to be safe. Also, I've heard it kind of varies, but stock boost should be somewhere between 13-14psi...

yeah sounds like a bad boost leak. and thank you for installing an aftermarket boost guage:thumb:!!! those stock ones wont tell you anything!

alright cool. Just wanted to make sure real quick, the one side straight out goes into the boost source/compressor housing, and the other side goes into the wastegate actuator, correct?
