Well today i was driving and someone pulled out in front of me with not enough time to stop and now the car is done. The engine and drive train is ok so im gonna throw it all in my 1g race shell.

Well the problem with trying to make other turbocharges such as a 16g variable geometry is the fact that the variable geometry function is not only a part of the chra its a part of the hot-side, so the turbo would have to be completely redesigned.
Lol dont use springs to actuate the vgt because we tried that and the vgt snapped shut at 50mph and it felt like we hit a brick wall because all the way shut is the turbos engine brake feature, and gassers don't like engine brakes lol.
I think it was around 130 or so but its not my car so im not quite sure ill ask my buddy for full details and my bad i just found out it was an 11.30 at 40psi my bad.Yes we used 2 manual boost controllers, one to actuate vgt and the other for the ewg.
If i recall 40 psi was in 4th ill have to talk to my buddy to get spool times but it took no more then 4000rpms to reach 40psi. The setup took a while to complete and was very tricky to figure out a control system. We tried at least 8 different setups to get to this finished product.

both my 1g and 2g are automatic awd. I really wanna swap my 2g to 5spd because i have rebuilt the trans and valve body and now the torque converter took a crap on me and im sick of my auto related problems. my 1g has been awesome though so i guess the auto thing is a love hate relationship.
so after rebuilding the trans and the valve body only to find out the torque converter was bad i have came to the conclusion that i cant handle this car anymore and it has to go.:banghead:

I thought i would share this with all of you. This is my custom made patch harness which allows me to run my dsm link in both my 1g and 2g using the same ecu. The credit goes to quentin marchone, he did an amazing job.
