How do I adjust the shifter? I don't see why it would only do it SOMETIMES, not all the time... how could it be the gears? Wouldnt it happen always? Does poly motor mounts or anything like that have anything to do with it? If I REALLY drag the clutch.... let out real slow, it does it less...

this is just my observation, but i think that between these 2 cars.... the hx40 would probably WIN, atleast on the street. im not by any means a know it all or anything, but examining these dyno graphs.....hx40 @44psi was.... @5500 rpm, 400whp 6266 @36psi was.... @5500 rpm, 160whphx40...

I guess another factor is AVAILABILITY. a HX40 7 blade are getting a little harder to find especially BEP .70a/r house ones... (from what i can tell atleast) PTE 6266cea i can get from from about 50+ websites, including local vedors.

uhhh, IDK if that comment is entirely true..... BUSCHUR racing (probably the most infamous shortblock builder)..... says on their website that they ONLY build 6-bolts (just saying)

I personally havent delt with slowboyracing, just know they are one of the few places that sell built 7 bolt shortblocks. I have no input towards their customer service or business ethics, so I cant talk negatively about them. I'm just simply making a suggestion for the OP's question.

I think that slowboyracing does 7 bolt builds..... i know they sell 7 bolt shortblocks (if thats what your looking for) idk if that helps
