Hi,Did you finish the rewiring? If so, maybe with the added voltage to your pump your running a higher volume of fuel. If you don't have a regulator you might run too much fuel pressure causing it to be rich and causing these issues. Possible other reason, if you are running a s-afc or...
Hi,I am in the process of completing my setup. You can see the setup in my profile. What's not listed is turbo (scm61 or agp RS60T), exhaust manifold (DNP or SBR ported cast manifold), DSM Link, injectors (850 or 950) and intake manifold (????).I need to know what's out there for 2g's...
Hi,Innovative motorsport recommends to have theirs put as far as possible away from the turbo. And if you have a cat, it needs to be still in front of the cat. I read that a lot off people are installing the sensor in the place where the 2nd O2 sensor is located. I am not sure if 1g has one...
Hi,This might sound dumb, but make sure they are connected in the right way. Not that you have them installed to push the air and connected to pull. Or the other way around.Sven
Hi,I would agree with what's been said before. You need to know what you are bidding on. Do some research about the products. And yes sometimes you find good deals and sometimes you get srewed. For example: I found brand new eagle rods for $250, great deal. And I was scammed before on a...
Hi,The only thing you need extra is the regulator. Because you are going to run higher volume of fuel, you want the regulator to control that amount.Sven
Hi,The only thing that's going to be modified, are the holes where the bolts go through. I am going to make them a little bigger and try to create a better angle.Sven
Hi,I talked to dejon tool and they were very friendly and helpful. We came to the conclusion that I ordered the wrong pipe. I have a 2g with a 1g head and 1g intake manifold. There is a slight difference where the manifold is located and in which angle the throttle body elbow bolts onto. So...
Hi,I was trying to install my dejon tool 2.5" upper intercooler piping with GM MAF sensor and tial bov. But looking at the picture, you see that I have hood clearance problems. Has anyone else ran into this problem with the same or simular setup? What did you do to make it fit under the...
Hi,You can use your rods, but the pistons are different. As long as you use the 7bolt 4g63 rods for the 7 bolt 4g64. You need special pistons for the 4g64 block with 4g63 head. JE, wiseco and others have them.Sven
Hi,Those 2.4l are 4g64. They don't crankwalk. I bought one of their short blocks and was surprised about the low cost and quick shipping. They are also very friendly and help you out with any additional questions. Those rebuilt long blocks are oem 4g64 internal rebuilt and come with a 4g63...
Hi,I just noticed a little hole in my valve cover near the right side bolt on the front of the cover. What is it for? Does it need to be plugged or left open? BTW, I can stick a wire all the way through.
Thanks,Sven
Hi,I know it's from the date they stamp the belts. They stamped my seat belts the day I purchased the belts. Thanks for clarifying it if it confused some people.Sven
Hi,Could it be that the previous FPR was broken or wide open that it caused the high fuel pressure? If so, it could have caused the fuel pump to run continuously at high volume. That might have been the noise. Can you take the fuel pump out and test it with water? See if it runs well.Sven
Hi,Could that be the whinning of the pump working? My opinion, I think you are running to low fuel pressure and that the whinning sounds is from your fuel pump in working conditions. My walbro makes noisy sounds too.Sven
Hi,I would get the gauge and make sure I am on the right fuel pressure. Did you rewire the fuel pump? What kind of noise was it, for example running over something and you hear a bang or was it something else? Did you hear that noise with the car running?Sven
Hi,I got 2 of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33725&item=7962361078&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
And I like them alot. They are sfi certified for 2 years, starting from the day you bought the seatbelts. Also, you can choose different colors. If you buy one...
Hi,If you like the AGP RS49, then why not buy it directly from AGP. It's cheaper ($850) then machv ($999). And agp has an 50 trim from turbonetics that bolds on to our manifolds for even less ($699).Sven
Hi,Vibrant has a universal fiberglass dash. I am looking into that too. It replaces the whole dash. http://www.vibrantperformance.com/products/catalog05/pg54.pdfSven
Hi,You can get a nice tubular O2 housing from VPE or simular brands. They have them in 2.5 and 3" sizes. Checkout the link.

I have no idea how a dump tube will work on yours, but let me know if there's a...
Hi,#10 is a ground wire on the upper side of the intake manifold
# 11 is the crank sensor triangular plug with 3 wires (black, red and blue-white) and a cam sensor rectangular plug with 3 wires (red, black and blue-red)
#3 is power transitorSven
Hi,I was bored this morning. So I thought why not do a comparison of the O2 housings I have.
Test animal #1: EVO 3 O2 housing unported
Test animal #2: nsindustries tubular O2 housing (ebay)The tests were done in a good manner with an accurate caliper and one of the best electronic...
Hi,What are you using for tuning, super AFC or dsm link? I would recommend dsm link. Also, like said before, get a good FMIC and for sure bigger injectors.Sven
Hi,MaNGiNa24, what code did you get? Without more information, it could be anything causing it. Let me know what code and I could look it up for you.
And all respect to the people of autozone, but how can they figure out what the problem is, without first of all scanning the system with a...
Hi,What kind of scan tool did you use? It might read too lean of a condition and that might be said it's bad. Not the sensor itself. Make sure you have the right O2 sensors. When I had to order mine, there were multiple options (part numbers) for the O2 sensors. For your rich condition check...
Hi,P0125 means excessive time to enter closed loop (loop fuel control), check O2 sensors and their connectors and harnesses.
Probable cause:
- heated O2 sensor failure
- injector failure
- incorrect fuel pressure
- ECU failureDiagnostic chart:
1) Check O2 sensor good go to 2, not...
Hi,P0136 means O2 sensor circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 2 (that's the last sensor, rear), check harness and connectorsP0141 means O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 2, check harness and connectorsP1400 means manifold differential pressure (MDP) sensor circuit...
Hi,2 years ago in the summer my oem crank pulley broke. The car is a 95 gsx. I had the car only for a few thousand miles. Total miles was less then 70k. What happened was the crank pully came apart were the rubber damper holds the 2 metal pieces together. It damaged my front case, crank...
Hi,I still have to modify the wire harness or connections, because it's a different style harness. I already have a 1g cas. So, I don't want to spent more money. Thanks for the offer.Sven
Hi,I was wondering, if you can do the 1g cas mod without having it delivering the crank and cam signal. The reason why I ask is because I have a fairly new crank sensor. I was thinking to use the 1g cas for the cam signal and leave the yellow wire from the 1g cas unused. And use the 2g crank...
Hi,I had a FP Big T28 and I was dissapointed. I would recommend a 50 trim for daily driven cars. They make the best amount of HP on pump gas and be very streetable. And you can get them for around the same price. My friend had a agp L2R and now is changing over to a AGP RS49. He loves the 50...
Hi,I will bolt it on, but there is snow here too. And I haven't gotten everything yet to run my car. At this point I have 750cc injectors. I don't know when I will be ready to run the turbo. But I will try to keep you updated.
Thanks,Sven
Hi,Thank you all for your replies. I decided to go with the RS60T. I order the complete package with oil feed and drain lines and internal waste gate. I will try to post another thread about the installation and performance of this turbo. Thanks again!Sven
Hi,I have to thank everyone for their replies. But you aren't helping, lol. At this point it is a 50-50.
The scm61 will make more power, but is a little more expensive and might have a later spool up.
While the RS60T will almost flow as much (60lbs/min compared to 65lbs/min), is cheaper...
Hi,I have a hard time deciding which one to get. My goals for this year, is to get myself into low 12sec (12.2) and around 400-450whp. But I am still running stock engine, transmission and axles. So, I can't run to much boost. Say max about 20 street with pump gas, 25 track with race gas. I...
Hi,What's the difference between the HX40 with eight blades and the one with 6. Performance, boost, spool up, air flow?
A few mention the H1C, did you bolt this on using a flange? The reason why I ask is because I thought that you can't use the bull's eye HX35 housing with the H1C.
Can...
Hi,I swapped my 2g cylinder head with a 1g. I am almost done. But if I am correct I have to use the 1g lower radiator hose and the 2g upper one, right? Well, my 2g lower hose fits without any problems. So, here is the dilemma. I have to replace these hoses, because they are old and worn. Can...
Hi,I would get 550cc injectors to start. Then a wide band. Finally get it tuned!
My thought on your thread is that if your gauge reads lean all the time, that's major bad. You can fry your engine with to lean condition. Pay some extra money to get it tuned if you don't know how to do it...
