Just pull the good head and put it on the bent valve one and if the piston is bad you should be able to just pull the oil pan and swap out the one piston. If its a chilton repair manual I did a engine rebuild using the specs from it and have not touched the engine since in over 50 thousand...

If it was a n/t I would have said try a different crank positioning sensor. I'm not sure on the turbo engines. But that was the problem on mine when I did a rebuild on my 420a engine and cracked the cps by accident. Car would run 5 minutes and lose spark to 1 and 4
