well it depends on how laggy the turbo was before and if there is anything else that could be leaking, but if the leaks were pretty bad then it should make a world of difference. by the way did you by chance check the fuel injector seals also.
exactly but however this is kinda new to me since i have never owned a dsm with anything larger then the stock turbo. So I will try to port the waste gate tomorrow and will post pics before and after along with the gaskets.

Does anyone know where i can buy the exhaust housing outlet gasket and the exhaust flange gasket from. All the parts stores around here can't get the individual gaskets they want me to buy the whole turbo gasket set.

have your alternator checked i had a friend who kept blowing ecu's had his alternator checked and it was putting out 18V. Turns out the voltage regulator had gone out but it kept charging and blew the ECU about 4 times before we found the problem.

I bought the car with the turbo on it and they guy said it was set to 15psi so i am trying to get back down to around stock setting since i have stock injectors and fuel pump and no way to tune the car out.
I have a Big 16g and i need to lower the boost due to fuel cut, I know how to adjust the waste gate actuator. right now i have it adjusted to were the WG is about a quarter open. Is that alright. Also is it the longer the WG rod is the less boost? Thanks for all the help in advance.

Both are right since 1 and 4 and 2 and 3 fire at the same time switching the wires may help, Also if you have a compression tester. Check the compression of each cylinder and post there maybe a problem with the valves.
