I'll have to either rebuild it or get a new one, for sure.:ohdamn: I'm going to grab some new plugs the next couple days, I'll see if that works. I'm hoping that I don't have anything else going on.
I've added the mod list in my original post. To verify spark, I took the current plugs out of the cylinder head, plugged them into the plug wire, held them close to metal and watched all 4 create spark.I'd also like to add that I have had a bad AFPR for the past couple months as well. I have...
First off, I'd like to say prior to this incident, my car was running flawless.Last night around 8PM, I started my car up (1998 GSX) and let it idle up to operating temperature before taking off to my destination. The car started and idled just fine to operating temperature. I was approaching...
My GSX has been doing something real strange lately.Basically, I put the key in the ignition and switch it to the "ON" position where as windows/locks/radio etc... Should all be working, but nothing works. The car still cranks over and starts up perfectly fine every single time. After the...

Fuel Pressure is good. Still floats around the same 43 PSI or so, that it's supposed to. The head that was on it before, was just a stock head that had a minor valve job and slight porting to clean up the runners. The new head that I put on to replace the old one is the same exact thing.
Yes. I've also unplugged it and plugged it back in to test to see if it was bad. As soon as I unplugged it, the car wanted to die, so I quickly plugged it back in.
Recently, I was coming home from work one night and noticed the car was acting strangely. As I pulled in my driveway to park the car in the garage, it just shut down on me. I tried everything to figure out why it died and why it wouldn't start again. It wasn't until I pulled the valve cover off...
Is there a reset on the fuel pump itself? A guy at my work I was talking to was telling me that with a minor collision or something jotting around might send a relay to cut fuel so a fire won't start if a collision is bad enough.
The MAF appears to be alright. Would snow sitting on top of the filter somehow kill it? Even with the sensor unplugged and out of the car it still won't fire. I tried hooking my DSMLink up to the car and turning on the fuel pump and trying to start it and still no luck. I did notice when I did...
Nothing in the engine compartment was damaged. I guess when the collision happened, he hit the intercooler more towards the passenger side of the car and it pushed back into the radiator support and the radiator was pushed just a tad inwards. Nothing appered to be broken inside the engine...
A friend of mine had a minor collision this past weekend and wrecked the front end of his GST. He did damage to the front bumper, intercooler, radiator support and slight damage to the hood. The intercooler took most of the impact. After the impact he was unable to start his car, and I had to...
The ride is real smooth. No issues thus far. Doesn't pull to the right, doesn't pull to the left... really the car runs and drives like a dream. It's amazing.Yes, the wheels are Rota Subzero's 18X7.5's. On Falken Ziex 245/40R-18.
It handles surprisingly well actually. Bumps are like nothing. Much better then the ride in my old GST.The hood is VIS Racing G-Speed Carbon Fiber.Under hood:Precision Turbo GT3076R, TO4E cover, Internally Gated, Ported Turbine Housing:Fog Light bezels are unable to go in...
10 Megapixel Fujifilm camera. It's a friend of mines.Yes, there is some camber in the front. To be honest, I don't know exactly how much but I know it's not a lot. The car does need a camber kit. However, the previous owner was planning on road racing the car so he was going to leave it as...
I figured I'd share these with you guys. This is my 2nd DSM. I bought this one fully built the way it sits from a friend of mine. Trust me though, I know all about these cars from my first nightmare, my '98 GST. I've pulled the motor twice, swapped turbo's, changed clutches... You name it, I've...
