You definitley need a 2g ecu for your car not a 1g. evo3 is right there are some things that get swapped over depending on your setup goals and some parts you use. The main one is that you need a cable to make the 2g ecu see the 1g motors CAS signal as the crank signal as well. Road Race...

oh i forgot to add, Seal All is the brand name of a sealer you can use. It is gas resistant, works great i used it on the molex plug for my fuel pump connector.

Put the sensor in the rear location! sticking it in the front location can cause damage to the sensor. READ THE DIRECTIONS THEY GAVE YOU!......."if you have a turbocharger or bla bla bla, you must put the gauge AT LEAST 3 feet from the exhaust ports so you dont overheat and kill the sensor...

if the MFI relay was bad you wouldnt be able to start the car at all..... and yes they are a pain. i just had to check mine and replace it. You have to give us more info or take it to a shops tuner. There are a ton of really knowledgeable people on this site but we can only help with what info...

I have troubleshot this fuel pump power issue to the mpi/mfi relay which is as far as i could go with info on this site and in the manual. the fuel pump is rewired and the relay for the rewire is good. next thing back to check is this mpi/mfi relay but i cannot find specific info on my relay...

If you still have the stock fans i would definitley put them back on! Glenn is right, stockers are almost impossible to beat cfm wise. if i had the clearance i would put them back in in a heartbeat. my radiator, turbo, and dump setup wont allow me to run the stockers so the FAL kit i scooped...
