No need to remove the starter. just remove the 3 bolts from the bracket/brace thing that holds the vacuum lines under the intake manifold and lay it too the side then you can fit a adjustable wrench in there from the top. Works perfect for me every time.EDIT: sorry disregard what i said if...
I usually just replace the rubber shifter base bushings with some washers from ace hardware(im a cheap ass lol) just stack them until they're the same height as the rubber ones. Or you can buy aluminum shifter base bushing kits from extremepsi or mach v has good kits.
Take a look at my gallery pics im running a vrsf kit. For a while I was running a 2g maf setup with no clearance issues before switching to SD. As far as which intake pipe and bov I would get a stock 2g rubber intake pipe and a 1g bov. :talon:
There's a blue 1g on craigslist a guy is parting out it looks almost like a complete car. Just search eagle talon under "cars & trucks" it should pop up.
Its probably the wiring not making a good connection on the back of the gauge. That was happening to my electronic prosport boost gauge when I would hit a pot hole or something it would jump around and reset it's self. I found out that the wires on the back of the gauge was not getting a solid...
^^^this. I had the same problem with my fog light switch not staying engaged. a quick search later I found the write up on vfaq.com. works like a charm. of course the best thing to do is replace the switch but it dosent bother me to pull the switch out by hand.:talon:
when I installed mine It was a snug fit also so I just chopped off the rest of the metal on the inside corner. I don't have a answer to your ac question since I removed mine along time ago. my j pipe coupler is pretty close to the down pipe but its definitely not touching. see if you can...
