I don't remember how to come the factory oil cooler on 90 Turbo DSM.
I have see only heavy modified turbo DSM in Quebec and during the 2013 SO from my last flying trip.
European 4G63 have oil cooler with both fittings on the top, so no problem about that here.
Air pocket in the cooler make sense...

Bore it to 85mm is not an problem but it need an torque plate for best results in my mind...
This pump is not designed for pressurized system like WAIC, the water flow capacity is directly impacted by the system resistance.Take a look at this thread ...
