These are the Eclipse script mud flaps. Some wear but in decent shape for their age. Will post pics tonight. $100 shipped to the 48. Buyers pays any paypal fees.
Bump.Recently developed a similar vibration/shudder during slow acceleration, part throttle cruise and decel with and without the clutch depressed. I'm at 106kmi now and hardly ever drive it. I replaced the factory TC fluid last year with redline lw shockproof but I highly doubt that is the...
Bought these awhile back for my street build. Ended up not needing them. One journal on the intake cam has a score but there is no actual deep gouging or pickup. My local engine builder said he wouldn't hesitate to run them. Will let them go for what I paid. $210 shipped to the 48. PayPal only...
OP, what are you going to do about a FP gauge? I mounted my gauge with an adaptor on the stock fuel filter and thinking maybe its restricting flow. I too am looking to clean things up as much as possible.
Anyone running a competition clutch on a street setup? I'm concerned about pedal force and pedal assembly wear due to the additional force. Also chatter. Just wondering what other people have experienced. As far as power I'll be running a 16g when the clutch goes in.Thanks
You guys should head down to 1945 Speed and Custom in Troy for Cars and Caffeine. Its like the last Sunday of every month. They block off a section of river street for cars that want to show. All free too. I should have my 1ga down there for the July event.
In what order do you replace them? Are they torqued as they are replaced (one by one)? Or do you snug them all then follow the torque pattern in the repair manual?
Awesome thanks guys. SS-X with TZ-B seems to be what I'm looking for. Should I resurface and step my stock flywheel or just spend a little extra for a chromoly one?
I am going to be buying a clutch for my current build. Planning for 400whp eventually so I need a clutch to grow into. id like one that lasts, can take hard driving or launching anytime I drive it, which is only about 4 times a week, maybe less. Also, I'd prefer a PP with low pedal effort so...
In in Averill Park. Just picked up another 1G after 8 years of no DSM. I have a street/strip build in mind and would like to run it at the Valley next summer.
When I get around to doing the clutch in my current 1G I will be installing the new revised fork, new ball and one shim.Almost forgot, this is post 30!!
True, shimming the ball can also be a bandaid for worn parts, however even a new fork and ball is not designed for these high force pressure plates. For me and others it is extra insurance.
