I know this is a really old thread but I need some help, I have a prosport boost gauge i just installed and when i turn on my lights my taillight fuse blows, when i disconnect the illumination wire from the cog. lighter the fuse is fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When i put the white and red wire to the constant 12v it works like i want it to, white in the day and amber at night. But the gauge is always lit up even without the car on. So what now?
Alright, I have searched and couldn't find anything. I have the orange wire hooked up to the green/white wire on the cig lighter, the white attached to the blue wire directly in the middle of the cig lighter, and the ground hooked up. I have no idea where the red wire goes for the constant...
Yeah i like that but i want to keep at least one of my vents, that's the only problem. I love how the gauge looks there but it's hard to find any with the vents still there.
