I took off my HKS Carbon Ti exhaust from my GSX a few months back and never found time to bolt it back. I bought a home and moved, I lost all the hardware (gasket, bolts, nuts) that I need to put it back. Is there a place or vendor that I can buy the set from? Thanks in advance:thumb:

I still got my 2Gb GSX wheels in the garage, for use in emergency.I always thought that they were unattractive. They are heavy and they do bend easily. I bent one on a pothole but got it repaired since. I would shop for aftermarket in a heartbeat.I did not know that Euro rules are so...
Harbor Freight sells them for $12 and they are very good quality too. The ones I rented from Autozone and Kragen are those that need to be placed inside the coils to work. The one from Harbor Freight comes as a pair that clamps on the outside so there's space for the struts in the inside...
I did mine over the weekend.Depending on the condition of your stock parts, you might not need to buy anything else. You will need to cut some of your front bumpstop. I hacked out probably 20 cms from the bottom,It will be great if you have access to air tools and a swivel adaptor for...
Im in the process of installing new rear shocks (Eibach + Illuminas). What's the easiest way to mount the shocks in its place? I have the shocks+spring mounted on the top screws but Im having difficulty attaching the lower end of the shock to its mounting bolt.Any help would be greatly...
Sorry to hear it happened to a local guy. There are good advise here, but it depends on where you can park it.If you do decide to part it, sell me the antenna and the pair of clips that hold the trunk bonnet up.
This happened to me recently. My had a flat tire in the back and I cannot take the lugs off since I have those allen type lugs and the keys (2 of them) broke inside the lug. My car sat for a few months in the garage. One day my dad came by and saw it. He got a can of PB Blaster and a Hammer...
Could be the reason why it was suggested by Beau to go for the heavier spring rate for the back. Not really clear why youre hitting the bumpstops. Do you have a pic of the rear?
Bought it, played it, found out that I'm really not into it.I'll take any military game anytime. I can't wait for GOW2.Still playing COD4, AO2 and R6V2.
Valvoline Full Syn ATF+4 is around $4.99/qt and Max life (non-syn) is around $3.99/qt.I went with Mobil Full Synthetic since I trust it and I can share what's left with the C5.I have alot of B&M Trick Shift at home (non-syn) but I remember forum guys saying not to use it.
Please give us your review of the coilovers. I will be picking up a whole set in the coming days. What spring rates did you go with? I may just go with the regular rates since mine is a daily driver and I want them to be relatively comfortable.Nice work!!!
If I had a degree in finance, I would go to CA.South Orange County or SanDiego has a ton of companies that sure will use your talent. Weather is awesome, plus pay is good depending on what company you decide to join.I love California and Im so over the smog nazis. I keep my cars stock...
I was reading the EVO X pdf brochure from the Mitsubishi site. i was soo convinced that i should get one until I got to page 12.Curb Weight:3,517 lbs. - GSR
3,594 lbs. - MRHoly crap OMGThat's heavy!!!!Curb weight =The weight of an empty vehicle, without cargo and driver...
Technology goes forward and things do change. You gotta give it a chance to prove itself.I bet if they called it a 4G63B, people might embrace it with open arms. Some people do not like change and have the "if it aint broke, why fix it" attitude. After a while, there is a point where you...
On 4/22 around 7pm, a red 2G Spyder with red wheels and skunk stripes, saw you around the Pomona/Phillips Ranch area entring the 71N freeway. The stripes is a nice addition.
I like the new Evo, and the price is a non-issue.You got a bad@ss car and it's practical in a way because it has 4 seats that are useable. The Eclipse is a 4-seater but if you have legs, you wont fit in the back seat. The new platform is a welcome addition too. The 4G63 had lived its...
I did this over the weekend.I used Mobil Synthetic Transmission Fluid. There are alot of choices, and I think you can only get Dextron Mercon IV right now at a minimum which satisfies the Eclipse's requirement. I think Mobil 1 is equivalent to VI.I have alot of B&M Trick Shift regular...
I want one so bad since I got to see a U.S. Spec EVolution X MR not too long ago.It looks so mean, esp. the front. The back side is kinda too simplistic for me, I prefer the Evo VIII and IX a little bit more. The interior is done well too for those who have not seen it. Reminds me of an...
You can lean your mixture out but you gotta replace the extra gasoline used for cooling with methanol or water injection. Keeps the temps lower and takes care of your pistons.
My car is always garaged but on days that I had to keep my car outside by the curb, I use a car cover and a bungee cord to securely cover the car.The cover is relatively thick and it covers up tp the sideskirts of the car so no paint is exposed. My sister's SUV got grazed by a lawn mower...
$32K for an Evo is not bad at all. I paid $28K for my GSX 10 yrs ago and the EVO is way better in features and performance compared to my DSM.I agree that the EVO targets a whole different demographic, mostly older guys with the need for extra doors and seats and will pay the money to...
The MR Edition EVO X will be out in the summer. Some guy from MMNA has it and was parked by a Circuit City last month. I took some snapshots of his MR, it looks soo cool!!! That was the first EVO I have seen, I cannot wait to get one.
Welcome to the world of the DSM.It's more like a love-hate relationship for me, I hate it more now than i love it. That will change soon, as I'm putting her back to stock esp. the ride height via a set of coilovers.
Tne more I look at it, the more it reminds me of my 2G.Im happy to where the direction Mitsubishi is taking this car. It kinda reminds me of the 2008 EVO MR I saw at a parking lot not too long ago.I know the EVO gets the turbo-AWD treatment, but I still hope one day this car gets...
^^ I agree. I want it to be a learning tool for me as I go deeper into modification.I always wanted to do this to my car but I just cant firnd an EPROM ECU. Hopefully somebody here can help and sell me one.
96-97 have the ECU monitors problem. When tested, they will not pass unless you go to the dealer and have your monitors reset and immediately smog them. You can swap a newer ECU though which will take care of this problem.
