You miss understand my aem reads fine. It was reading rich. My front o2 sensor is what reads lean but my aem wideband picks it up as rich. So my front o2 thinks its lean so it enriches the mixture to the point its constantly running rich. I'm trying to find out if its the sensor or something...
I had a problem pop up outta no where that i can't seem to figure out. The car has been driving fine until a few days ago. It started to run rich so I did a log with evoscan and my o2 sensor was logging .1 volts which means lean if I'm right and its not cycling. When the car is not running...
Come on give the guy a break, its a concept car. You can't tell me if they really produced that car with that engine and all the carbon fiber for a reasonable price you wouldnt buy it? Its kinda corny but from a performance stand point it would be pretty f**king fast.
I'm having a problem with this. I have added the xml to the romdata eclipse folder and even deleted the old file because the obd inspection section wasn't showing up. well now it is showing and i have it set up just like the pic in post 35 but everything shows n/a instead of just what I have...
Has anyone had problem with code p0450 popping after flashing there car? trying to get the car to pass emissions and I've never had this code pop up till now. I had the p0446 come up but that was because i have a 97. I know it's a down low kinda thing but has anyone cracked it to just set...
I'm trying to install the aem analog wideband (#30-5130) into a friends car and was going to install in the front o2 spot and have a question.I read on the web site that it has a 5v analog output but have read in few places that it can't simulate the narrow band signal. Am I wrong in...
i was gonna call them monday they aren't to far from me. but i was afraid of having to buy the whole thing. if any one knows of another place or is willing to sell one they have pm me.
Just like the title says, Where can I buy one. Fixing a car for a friend that had his cams changed out and I guess the guy who installed them damaged the cylinder and I can't seem to find one. I'll try some of the dsm junkers but I want to know if there's anyone who sells new.
if you haven't figured it out yet check out jafro's garage page on youtube. he kept throwing the belt too. come to find out it was his block. the long bolt on the bottom of the alternator had worn out the block and allowed the alt to kinda turn where it sits which kept throwing the belt...
How is vtec bad for performance? The more serious builder get rid of brevity because they sacrifice street drivebilty. Yes vtec limits the low end flow of the head but its for streetabilty issues but top end is the same as if vtec was deleted and it was camed the same thru the power band.
well I did get it fixed. I never figured out if there was supposed to be a ring or anything back there so I made my own hub ring and have it working now.
No there is no sleeve that goes over shaft. That would explain how these wiring how to's have done it with out grounding out.I have even went to the momo web site and didn't see anything like that.
yeah, I've had it wired before. but it was with a long wire wrapped around the column. take a guess how that worked out. lolthe button works, my problem seems to be that my hub is grounded and if i wire it the way the tech article post it'll be on all the time. thats why i think there...
after looking more at it, it seems to me that there should be some sort of ring on the back side of the hub that keeps the horn wire from actually touching/grounding to the hub and then i would connect that to the horn button which is grounded when pressed .I've been trying to find a picture...
I've have had my car for 2 years now and have decided to sell it but the horn has never worked because I couldn't figure out how to wire it up.I have a momo steering wheel and hub that came with the car but horn didnt work. well I did research and found this tech article...
The 95 eclipse should be able to be scanned. I work at advance and have scanned some 95 models. It became a requirement in 96 but some 95 models do have obd 2
It's just a good amount of carbon build up. I had the same build up on mine and I took my dremal and a sanding attachment and cleaned it off. As long as the valves seal your ok to us it but the build up could possibly cause hot spots and knock so I recommend cleaning them
I've searched on here and the evo forums but I can't find a very good answer so I'm asking my fellow dsmers here, What should I be logging in my evoscan?Just to list what I do log:RPM
Throttle Position
Coolant Temp Scaled
Knock Sum
Battery Level(don't find it necessary, but...
^what he said. u can't see every angle of those pipes, plus the pipes aren't the only thing that can leak. Example is your intake gasket, you can't really see if it blown.
I don't normally correct people but I'll make an acceptation here cause this info is totally wrong. First trans fluid is normally pink, second you should always follow service recommendations set by the manufacturer not just wait till it gets dirty. and if you wait until there's "alot of grit"...
not really dude, read this. it's pretty enlightening http://store.forcedperformance.net/merchant2/graphics/subaru_oil/Forced%20Performance%20Recommendations%20for%20Motor%20Oil.pdfas soon as i read this I switched to rotella 15w40. Its cheap and you can find it at any part store and walmart.
sweet that makes it so much easier. I would have to go with the way listed on the evom web site because I don't have my taxtrix cable yet. But my only concern is what he mentioned about using ecuflash, that's only to get rid on the cel right? I mean I won't need that to run my wbo2 will I.
If all else fail put somw heat to it and see if u can bend it back. Now I've never taking my back bumper off so I don't know if something's in the way from letting u do that, but its an option if it allows it.
