Sounds like when I first bought my gst headache... i replaced almost everything in the engine including the turbo and I was still having boosting problems the last thing i changed was a brand new wiring harness from mitsubishi and fixed everything... Then blew my headgasket a week later and too...
yea so the issue with the oil pump doesnt have anything to do with blowing the head gasket... im in the midst of building a head i have a mls gasket and head bolts but i dont wanna throw it on and it blow apart again...
So im going nuts with this car I put a new motor in, had to redo the cam gears and the timing is on if the oil pump was out would that blow my headgasket. I read something about checking the timing on the oil pump with a screw driver i dont think it should matter but I dont know how the gasket...
So i installed a new motor and I have everything ligned up the car runs the trans is good it just wont engage when in gear... Is there something im missing do i have to do something with the input shaft...
yea thats what i told them and there like dude weve been doing this for years i was like ok lol they said they see engines pusing over 26 pds of boost on a non decked head with a metal hg... But ima take it to this place down in Reading, PA seem to be a highly recomended place
yea i got bc 272 cams, arp studs, and mitsu mls hg, it was taken to the machine shop to get checked they said there was no need to deck it so they just fixed a stripped manifold bolt

We put a graphite gasket on our ls/vtec turbo integra held up nice under 16psi of boost but we turned it up to 22 and and cracked it right behind the exhaust manifold im not sure how well they run on a dsm but its probably about the same since most dsm have a higher compression
