Ya just cruising in mine and hearing the bumps, knocks, squeeks, rattles etc. make me think, "How could this thing have gone for 25K or so 13 years ago. I would of felt jipped!"
I would say brakes. My Dakota was making a FUNKY smell and I pulled over into a Fleet Farm parking lot, near their garage. I had a mechanic friend working at the time and he said it was the brakes so I got it checked out and the driver-side caliper seized up so I had to get them replaced...
Ya I have the same problem with my horn. Panic alarms works and so do the relays as we can hear them click when I press the horns on the steering wheel.
I do agree that as stock, the Eclipse is a gorgeous car. When I bought mine, it had i think Blitz side skirts on it, and the owner included the stock skirts.I wanted to put them back on only to discover whoever put the Blitz ones on used tape/screws/pop rivets/and silicone glue (looked like...
That looks like a clean Talon. The price is pretty damn good on it, and by judging the pictures no strut tower rust which is a plus! It sounds like the things that are wrong with it are just small issues. And it's stock so that means it wasn't really molested. I would do it!
Thanks, ya I figured do it right or not at all. The narrrowbands I was looking at weren't the light show ones, I was thinking at least the needle ones. I just don't like the fact the widebands are so expensive haha
I was about a hour to a hour 1/2 late once because I noticed smoke trailing me on the highway. Got off the exit and limped into the CarX by my work to discover my tranny took a dump.(Later to discover the place I had my tranny fluid changed cut some tube instead of pulling it off, and...
Hi, sorry for sort of bumping this but it's related. I am only really looking at 300-350 hp in the future for this car, and I was wondering if it would be worth spending the extra money on a wideband. In my viewpoint, (idk why), a wideband is only for cars with higher horsepower and need the...
^ This, there is a STI in town, silver, with highlighter yellow rims. But ya that is kind of too much blue, looks like a decent color, but too much. Bronze would look better.
Haha, totally not related to the topic! But this might somewhat help... http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/appearance-interior-exterior/362661-rear-facing-car-seat-97-spyder-gs.html But I know that my friend sold his GST because he was having a kid and needed a more practical car.
Thank you! Now would that be a better upgrade over say...my Amsoil air filter or a K&N? This filter looks pretty interesting...:hmm: Anything noticable after putting it on?
Idk, the remakes of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre weren't that great as the original. They are also remaking Nightmare on Elm Street and Rosemary's Baby I believe. There really hasn't been a great scary movie in the recent years except (as mentioned) The Ring. I'm surprised no one mention John...
I don't know about 10g's for a GSX. People seem to think their GSX's are worth a lot. My GST was 4g's, the kid wanted 5. I like the pull that the GST gives that my friend says the AWD cars lack.
Ya I heard these trim pieces were pretty notorious for breaking off. I guess I could take a picture, but Wings West sells a replacement one and it's for
1995-1999 Eclipse'1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse FACTORY STYLE LEFT DOOR CAP Wings West International Inc.So I don't know what to...
Hi everyone, long time reader, fairly new poster. I trid searching for the answer, but I can't seem to find the answer. This past week my driverside door cap flew off at the car wash at the blowing off stage (no pun intended). I discover that there were only a few clips holding it on and no...
I am 6'4 1/2, 300 lbs, and I fit fine. I have the seat all the way back with a slight gangster lean but it works. But if there is a bump on the road, my head does knock on the ceiling :banghead:
