I don't think so. You can make it work if it was the other way around but I think you're SOL like it is. I have a knock off type-s and it works great! My stock BOV was sticking open so for a quick fix I picked up one of these cheapos and I'm impressed thus far. Mine is recirc'd and it still...
O2 sensor, MAF sensor, coolant temp sensor, needing to be tuned, fuel psi regulator faulty. Just a few ideas. Try searching, there's a ton of info on this condition.
Close, it's underneath the t-stat housing. I just changed mine and it cost me about $63.00 from the stealership. If memory serves me correct it's a two wire. The part number is MD069879. This one feeds the computer and would fool the computer into staying in "cold mode." Good luck.
Try searching.
Everything I've read says that code is: Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1)
Search for possible solutions assosciated with this problem. I see several threads out there with some helpful information.
Well, as you and your friend suspected I did in fact need to read the "O2-R" and not the O2-F. I took a casual drive yesterday and changed the O2 setting. Once the car warmed up and I was shifting normally at about 3-4k the logger was picking up the O2 voltage more reasonably. The logger showed...
I don't see how you could put a roll on the pipes yourself. It should be a cheap process for your local machine shop. It would take a decent amount of consistent force to roll them properly. I have cheap couplers too and they work fine. They're 4 ply... I think. I had major issues when I got my...
Hmm, okay then. So, I'll turn off that setting and log a new one only using the O2-R setting. Thanks for the tip! Maybe that'll shine some light on the subject. lol
Thanks again, Boost! I need to quit fiddle fartin' and get me a wideband. I'm going to do some investigating and I'll post some more info as it unfolds. BTW, you're a brave soul based on that rewire and relocate. lol. I would have never tackled that! ha ha
Yeah, there's some interesting information there. Do you think it's possible that my O2 is faulty? That would definitely cause rich conditions AND the strange voltage readings, eh?
Thanks, We're On Boost. I agree that our setups seemed similar at the time so I value your advice. You seem knowledgeable on the subject so I trust your opinion too. Here is some of the newest info. I logged this pull earlier after I changed the temp sensor that was throwing the code. The car...
I like the rear add-on. Coupled with the highrise wing it would make the back of the car look taller and give it a more aggressive stance. You're working with some good ideas.
I've read through a lot of threads and information and feel like I need to discuss it with someone directly relating to my car. I recently got a Palm IIIc with the MMCd 1.8 program. I've logged a few test logs trying to feel it out and get a good understanding of how to work and read the logger...
For a quick fix that won't catch the eye. Get you some body filler, make sure all the loose pieces are dislodged, apply the filler, sand with some fine sandpaper, mask it off, and spray the smallest section possible with the closest spray can you can find and then clear it a few times. I had my...
That would be so sweet! I raced that track forever on Forza trying to beat the track record. I ended up doing it though by like 2 seconds. Tough track...
Did it all of a sudden start running rich and threw a CEL or has it been that way since you bought the car? I'd say either a bad o2 sensor or vacuum leak are good places to start.
Hey, guys. I apologize if this is redundant but I've been reading for the last hour and I don't see a thread/discussion on "how to" check fuel psi on a 1g. I looked all over today but didn't see a schrader port. Do I have to have a fitting to plumb into the filter line or something? Thanks in...
I'm back. It's been a while since I updated the issue "car runs terrible under boost" because I've been dealing with some major issues. I had to pull the dash and fix a water leak where the car is bonded together from the factory. I figured I might as well deal with that curled dash while it...
Crank the car cold and check for idle surge. Get under the car and check it really good for rust. I've been dealing with rust on my Talon because I was to stupid to lay on the ground and get under the car. It would have been evident and I wouldn't hate the previous owner. :sosad:

"And I'm not sure what you mean by "copper RTV with no gaskets anywhere". I mean the "no gaskets anywhere" part is pretty clear. Do you mean you don't even use a gasket between the turbo and manifold?? What's copper RTV?"RTV= Room Temperature Vulcanizing compound. It's...
