420a to gs-t? that one just threw me off for a second. Sorry. :ohdamn:I read a few posts on it and it doesn't look like there should be much problem on it. Just check the 420a section of the forums.
I tried that. Got shot down pretty fast. And like I said, this is a rarity in itself seeing a 2g gsx around here. I called my bank and the payment is easy squeezy. So I think I'ma go for it.
It's the first 2g GSX I've laid eyes on around here. Seen a couple of 1gs but this is the first 2g.It is. Beige Leather interior and this color I haven't seen very often on em. Like pearl Magenta or something, its pertty.
I have stumbled across a 97 GSX shell. No Engine, no Tranny, body is in great condition and the chassis has 94000 miles on it. Guy will include transfer case. So Shell + Transfer Case = 2500. Good deal or no?
I agree, but there is something fulfilling about working on a cold engine block drinking hot cocoa with your buddies and roasting marshmallows on the fire of old parts you don't need.or is that just me????? :sosad:
Very nice. :hellyeah:but I'm soooo jealous of the garage. I'm using my patio (at an apartment complex) luckily for me my next door neighbor doesn't mind the smell of degreaser in the morning. But unfortunately he is a honda man.

Definitely not doing this for lack of money but just wondering about it. The 4g63 is a transversely mounted 4 Cylinder. Anyone know of someone swapping its transversely mounted big brother 6g72 for it? Just wondering cause those bastards come with 296horses stock. :sneaky:
I actually worked at Advance Auto parts. you're better off getting the new GSP for like 70 bucks. Those remans are sometimes POS out of the box. So good luck!
Ok I'm working on a 2.3L Stroker in my 4g63. And of course I'm going 6 bolt crankshaft. But looking at all the kits I could find they only go as low as 8.5:1 on the compression. I want to get closer to 8 than that. So anyone got a suggestion for parts because it looks like I'm going to have...
preciate that.I know its cheaper to just buy an entire stroker kit but to get the compression that I want I think I might have to buy separate parts. I'm trying to get as close to 8.0 to 1 as I can. Any suggestions?
Working on a 2.3L Stroker 6-bolt build to go into a GSX. I haven't got the car yet but I have the block and head. Just getting on here to research what type of parts to get for the block and head to get the power output that I'm wanting.
