Good lookin out LiquidX! I did a search on Megan versus EVO but didn't find this thread. Thanks for the info. I think I'll temporarily be going with the Megan and eventually porting the hell out of my evo3 housing and swapping back. lol

So I have the opportunity to get a Megan SS tubular O2 housing. I currently have the EvoIII16g with EvoIII O2 housing. I am wondering if the Megan O2 housing will give me any performance up grade over the evo3. Does anyone have good info on the swap?

I was thinking the same, but was thinking I may be able to transfer the power window components to the rs door.

OK...I got side swiped and need a driver's side door. I have a 99 GST and know someone with a door from a 97 rs. It's the same color and could possibly bolt right up. 1...Will this door work? 2...what about the cap that is on the lower portion of the gst and not on the rs? How would that work?

This is a pic of my old 99 NT. I had a set of Volk LE28N 18x8 rims on it. I was turned onto the black with gold rims when I saw a black Evo with gold rims. Hope you like!

When doing a 1g block/2g head swap do you use the 1g or the 2g ac tensioner pulley?

Anyone here in the Atlanta area or surrounding areas?

The black is looking good. I had black interior on my 99 GS OZ edition. I never got to paint my grey panels and redo the roof. I'm getting more jealous with every photo. Can't wait to see the finished product. :thumb:

I second that. I have read into it and also seen it for myself. That unit will fit just fine using the stock brackets. I am actually looking into putting the same Pioneer unit or similar in my 99.

I think they look great! I agree with painting the middle section. However, I would love to see the night pics with them lit up. :D I have a black 99 Eclipse and have a set of these lights sitting around.

Now that looks SO tough on the outside, but SO pretty on the inside!

I'm all for the black #6 photo or the last one. I am partial to the Volk CE28's also. I had a set of Volk LE28N's on my black 99 Eclipse GS. The rims were gold with polished lip. Looked very HARD!!!

I'm in the process of purchasing an evo III 16g turbo and evo 8 injectors. I still need a bigger fuel pump and something to manage/tune her. My 7 bolt motor went out on me. In the process of having a 1g block/2g head combo put in as well.

hey...it's all good. I ended up in a GST. So something good came out of it. LOL

Hey...I had a 420A eclipse for years. I modded it and it ran quick and handled great. Nothing near boost, but I never had any problems motor wise. Also, had fun running against other naturally aspirated cars. Welcome!

Yeah...I was hooked on the test drive. lol I have ridden shot gun in turbo cars, but to be behind the wheel and feel the boost kick in is a totally different feeling.I was driving with sense this time. he he he Hydroplaned and bounced off the gaurdrail. Could have been MUCH worse.

Well, I joined this sight in 2009 as a 99 eclipse GS owner. Wasn't very involved as there was alot of talk about nt eclipses being slow and such. Now I have, I guess you could say rejoined the website. I wrecked my GS and now have a 99 GST. All I have to say is....I'm never going back to...

I had the clutch leaking problem on my old NT eclipse. Is it leaking inside, into the floorboard? If so, I swapped the master cilinder and that took care of it. Not sure about the power steering leak.

Dang...well good luck on finding them. Yes they are special cars, but not that special. I had no problem getting mine, but I am also in Atlanta, GA...not Fresno. ABS or NonABS, both will work. :)

I think you will be very happy with your Tein springs. I had Tein Coilovers on my old 99 eclipse. Handled like a dream. I am now kind of at a crossroads with my "new" 99 eclipse as far as what route to take suspension wise. PM me and let me know how the Tein springs are for you.

I would also recommend a Duralast battery. I have had the best luck with them over the years.

I got the same code and it was Fuel Trim Malfunction. At the time I was running my bov into the atmosphere, but switched to recirculating my bov. Since then I don't throw that code unless I run it hard and the boost control kicks in. Grrrr...

My mechanic has "completed" my motor swap. I have a 99 GST. It now has a 1g block/2g head combo. When he cranks the car it starts and shuts off immediately. the check engine light comes on and throws a code of cam position sensor A. Can anyone help me with this or give some insight please?

I second what spooln4fun said. I am also on gadsm.org. They can tell you just about anything you want to know over there. I would also suggest 4g. I'm blueyed_aries76 on gadsm.org.
