Is that the BEP housing or stock holset housing. Yeah in that last pic it looks like the dp is touching the aternator. How close is it.

Fili a condom up with chlorine and drop it in there gas tank. You will have about a 8 minute window to get away before the gas eats throught the rubber and the chlorine and oil in the gas reacts. No car, no sense in stealing shit for something you dot have.

Hooked up the gauge and Im getting my power and ground from the cigerette lighter. Everything powers up. I hooked up the sensor to test it but the gauge just reads 14.8 and dosent move. When I shake the sensor I hear a rattle inside of it. Is this normal or did something com loose from the inside?

It has to be from the head/block area. When I wipe the oil from the water pump clean and take a drive. While under no boost driving it dosent seem to leak but when a start boosting and check the water pump has oil on it. The cam seals leak a little bit but I dont think its enough to travel down...

I have a 97 gst spyder with the stock 7 bolt. A while back that head gasket went and she ran real hot trying to get her back home. Changed head gasket but now theres a oil leak on the timing belt side. Seems to be coming from between the head and block. So I went to my local u pull it junkyard...

Yeah I would def. send it back. It might take a little while to get it back but it will be what you wanted. Now if we were talkng about a certain fast food place maessed up you r burger. Hell its just a couple bucks but something that cost big money, I would want my order right.

Should I keep he DOHC 2000 silver or shave it off?

Just finished up wire tucking and emssion hose removal. I scored a hyundai VC that Ive been holding on to for sometime now. Its a GST Spyder red in color with a tan top. What color should the VC be and what else can a paint or polish to give it that race look not rice look.

So pretty much the only vaccum lines i need are: FPR with boost gauge T'd off of it, brake, and BPV. All other hose can go. RIGHT?

First it started off with a little wire tucking, then it turned into emission hose delete project. I have all hoses on the TB removed and capped. Now what do I do with the metal lines on back of the intake that the hoses were connected to

Well fellas looks like the gigs up on holset turbos. Everywhere I look it seems the price for these things have gone up. Im not in the market for a turbo, I picked up my HX35 about a month ago. How much did you pay for your Holset?

Why nt go with the HX35 in the stock 12cm housing with a udivided t3 manifold. Should have a faster spool than the HX40.

I think Ive traced the problem down to the ground connection to the battery terminal was corroded all to hell. Have to wait for autozone to open up.

About a week ago when I go to start the car it just clicks once from the starter. Tried jumping... same thing, eventually had the battery recharged and tested good. Put back in car and does the same thing. About a week ago it did it to me at walmart but turning the key from start to off a couple...

Thinking of going with a knock off DNP ebay manifold. How much did you have to cut to get the right angle for the turbo to fit. Turbo is a HX35 with the stock 12cm housing.

Who dares to try it?

Anybody with a holset turbo already installed tell me the joys and experience of the turbo running. Im starting to lose focus on the whole build. Only pieces left to get are dsm link, bep housing, and feed and drain lines. Almost there just been slacking.

What size is this beast? YouTube - 393 cubic inch Holden V8 and it runs a single Holset turbo.
