Im trying to take out my cables and there is absolutely no way to get them through the firewall im stumped, there removed from the tranny and I unbolted the rubber grommet by the fire wall but cant remove them from the shifter basesuggestions?
yes I removed the whole dash and the whole wiring harness and tried getting to every bolt I could, I removed all ac lines, power steering, cruise control everything I cant figure it out I feel like its something stupid, I could care less if this thing had heat and ac just excess weight
Yes sir, im in the process of doing a full drag build and need that out of the way so I can weld my cage, im stumped, I almost want to just take a hammer to it, its all junk to me anyway, I don't need it cars stored in a heated garage and will only be taken out if weathers nice or to the track
Long story short, car is a drag build, I tore out the whole harness and cut I don't know how many pounds of excess wire and stuff that didn't need to be used. wiring in a push button is simple, run a wire from your button to the starter and the other to a switched 12v source.

Yeah it took a while, I have a complete donor harness so that's why I did it, if all fails I can throw the stock one back in, just one of my biggest pet peeves, a clean engine bay.
