just have one question. my 2g eclipse has the two wires in the middle that are colors red and black, and the alternator just has a big red one, and a small green cable. do i connect the red to the red and black to green? thanks.

i never did, the last owner said he changed them just before he sold me the car (about 6 months ago) but they look like he got them used. also i dont know if this has anything to do with the cut, but im getting idle surge.
