The evo 8 turbo is not going to be a very easy install. The turbos are backwards i guess one could say.Plenty of people have made very nice power with a e316g. I dont think all the work to install a Evo 8/9 turbo would be worth it.Stick with e316g its a proven turbo, Just stay away from...

What i would like to know is how you would mount a fender brace on a 1g. I jsut looked at mine and doesnt seem like theres one really good spot.The fender braces illustrated above on the evo I had on my evo 9 mr. they weighed nothing but made a huge difference

I understand Tim and like it said i knew i didnt talk you. I just installed the kit and the J pipe was welded incorrectly and screwed up the fitament. Ill get some pics for you. It almost touches the motor mount, the angle is way off. I will be cutting and welding it shortly here to get it...

What would be the result if the compressor housings faced the opposite direction?i.e. little turbo inlet faced Pass. and big turbo inlet faced driver. If you ran Speed density or a GM maf would it work.
