    If it's the shifting that causes it, what condition are your engine mounts in? You might want to firm them up.If you're just getting the knock above 6000 rpms, then just turn down the boost a tad.-Jesse

    1) Do an intake leak test, it will show you where your boost is going.2) check for shaft play on the turbo. It will tell you if it is dying, and can't produce more than 12 psi.That is all. -Jesse

    Sounds like alternator. I just had the same problem this last weekend.When the car is running, you should see 13-14 volts at the battery... If you're getting less than that, then the alternator isn't charging. I would remove the alternator, and have it tested at Autozone or something...

    It could just be 'cause the T-25 is so small it spools so quickly :DBut really, I'd check for any intake leaks. I don't think a missing gasket would make it feel like that.-Jesse

    It might, but the exhaust stuff usually has a crack or two. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it looks like it's about to break through.-Jesse

    Maybe if you're trying to push 24 psi through the stock exhaust on race gas, and then immediately switch over to that exhaust.... it might make that much of a difference in that specific situation.It _could_ be as much as 50 horsepower, but that's probably the biggest gain they've ever seen...
