If the motor mounts are fine and the alignment is fine have them balance your tires. sometimes wen the car is vibrating at highways speeds it static balance is out on the tire so the tire jumps up and down. just a thought
200,280 on a 1.8 DD body looks like shyt but shes getting torn down this spring and a fresh rebuilt 4g63t is going in place of it ( along with countless amounts of body work )

***UPDATE*** just got back from the dreaded E-Check and she FINALLY passed with flying colors and room to spare. all it took to achieve this was a brand new cat a new flex pipe all exhaust holes fixed new plugs new wires and a few lil cheats like dry gas and a lil timing fudge ;)
after i did the welding on it i didnt notice any other cracks in the exhaust so it should be good and i should not have to replace it. it does have ALOT of rust. the hole pipe has surface rust but im not going to worry about it. i did find someone who has an extra turbo motor for my car for $400...
**UPDATE** went to a muffler shop and they told me i would need a hole new exhaust i asked where is it leaking and the guy pointed out a few minor leaks. i was thinking to myself wtf i have a welder i could patch these up easily so i did just that got it home let it cool welded the leaks and bam...

if i found a full exhaust for 200 then yes because i could make that motor last till 220k but the only problem is im looking at almost 300 just for the down pipe and the manifold not to mention cat back and muffler
