boost leak check it, then test the IAC, if the throttle cable feels mooshy try adjusting it, and also the little screw inside the TB could be loose, tighten that down.

Did you try replacing the coil transistor pack found right under the middle of the intake manifold? Those heat up and can fail. Happened on my 2G once before.

Next to Milford Ma here, moved on to a 1997 talon tsi, has some boost leaks somewhere though.!

The car is HACKED as far as suspension and body goes, rear end needs bushings, front subframe is non existant, the engine mounts are shot, I can work on the price of my injectors and ecu plus if need be, but text me or email me with some ideas/thoughts

Stock engine, haven't done a compression test but i'd imagine its anywhere from 125-150. You interested in any other parts too? If you bought the engine maybe we could work out some other deals too.
