I did not see one person telling the OP to not do this mod.Everyone is merely suggesting to wait for a way to tune out the fuel.Every car is different.

watertown isnt a bad drive for me.id like to go but my 1g is kinda torn down right now.maybe if someone would help resurrecting it.... :thumb:

Ya this is my first awd car let alone a turbo car.I drove it part of last summer and it was a blast even though it ran half-assed,so this spring will be real fun considering the build i plan to start this month.Good luck finding your gst or gsx.

I'll take a picture of the throttle body in a few minutes so someone can confirm.And your right about measuring the TPS.I was having a VERY bad day saturday so I accidentally measured in ohms :shhh:.Ok so I'll do those two things and post my results.

the car: '90 5-speed gsxdescription of issue: When i start the car,it idles steady at 1,500 rpm. then almost immediately climbs up to 3,000 rpm,again steady and stays there.parts changed/checked: IAC (black one) rebuilt eprom '90 ECU (old one DID have bad IAC drivers) spark plugs...
