when things start going bad on a stock block is at 25ish psi of boost
i seen bad stuff happen
but at 14 psi you wont need to do any engine work maybe just change the bov
but thats it

ROFL wow my small list went into a really big list. so far i only drive my dsm on weekends to go to work which is all highway and 20 minute drive, and i go to school on week days rarely use the car
so what i have done since i bought it with 127xxx miles is
oil change
oil filterand thats about it
i was thinking of getting the radiator flushed
brakes seem to be in good condition so far
the guy told me that he changed the belts at around 60xxx mile and they look good
next on my to do list...
So i want to make my dsm reliable. i need tips on what to do it currently has 131xxx miles on it. and the only problem im starting to have is that shifting into first is getting hard and on cold days when i shift into reverse it grinds.:cry:
maybe next summer when i have the money i'll start...
My 1995 eclipse gsx 127xxx miles when i bought is my very first car i ever owned and loving the dsm life even though i havent got to modify my car yet still saving up money
every time i shift into reverse it seems like the clutch doesnt engage fully. and it makes that awful sound of metal grinding:cry::cry::confused:
and when i shift into first to start off it gets really hard and u kinda have to force it into first.
so do i need a new clutch or...
well the other day i was driving to San antonio all of the sudden my ac turns off and the water temperature needle sky rockets.
i pull over immediately open the hood let it cool for 10 minutes.
then i turn it back on and the needle starts going up again.
i opened the radiator and found there...
wow that was to good to be true.
now that i see the engine.
i bought a 1995 gsx with 127k miles on it. of course i drove it very nice and it was completely stock. got it for $2700
so far it has 130k miles with me runs great.
