89 t bird ir suspension is about as close to bolt in as one can get. after a few quick welds and 1/8 inch plate should snug right in there . using the stock sub frame mounting points creates a lot less work .

if your trans is slipping then it needs a rebuild end of story. with the auto trans its either tcu, solenoids or a mechanical failure internally....i have a 98 gsx and my trans did pretty much the same thing then i lost all forward gears shortly after.
if you pulled the tcu and its still slips...
try a diffrent oil and filter. if your using fram filters go with an oem filter. and try a diffrent brand oil. sounds wierd but this surely isnt your average car.
