if your trans is slipping then it needs a rebuild end of story. with the auto trans its either tcu, solenoids or a mechanical failure internally....i have a 98 gsx and my trans did pretty much the same thing then i lost all forward gears shortly after. if you pulled the tcu and its still slips...

try a diffrent oil and filter. if your using fram filters go with an oem filter. and try a diffrent brand oil. sounds wierd but this surely isnt your average car.
