I say just source a motor you can drop in and get the car back on the road. Messing with motor work doesn't sound like it's something you got time for.
I just had a similar issue last night. ended up being two of my coil packs are arching off the valve cover. I'm going to pull up the boot, wrap them in electrical tape and that should clear that up till i buy new wires. Something simple you can check.
Cause of the year of the car that's a good idea. I swear I heard of this florescent dye you put in your coolant and then view the engine bay under a black light.

Enkei has an RPF1. That first pic you posted is NOT an Rpf1. I can't see Enkei making another rim so close to what their rpf1 looks like except less space in between the forks/spokesAnd I don't think enkei has a universal bolt pattern on their rims
His request to get the parts back first is not unreasonable. If it were a vendor you bought a part from and you wanted a refund you would have to send it back to them first right?Make the claim then send the parts back with tracking in the pay pal claim is the right move.
Am I way off thinking that it could be your T-Stat or somthing related to coolant temp? If its not working right the car always tries to go for the cold start idle and bounces around. Worth a shot. It's happened to me on a couple cars.
lol yup. I think they go for like 350 on the low end. my my friend has like 4 of them but he breaks at least 2-3 a year. Gotta think at what point do you just get a dog box lol
Just saw this. Not the same car but my 89 camry with original starter would do this if i cranked it cold for more that 4 seconds. It's more like the starter tooth slips then anything. replacing the starter fixed my issue as well.
I've seen people turn over a motor for 20 minutes have an issue and part it out and list the parts as new. But Imo those piston were used for a good amount of time past initial start up and inspection. My 20k mile wesicos looked better than those to be honest.bryanwheat is talking sense Id...
I saw one guy on here moved the heater knobs down to where the stock radio was and the radio with the sound adjustments were. That to me works the best leaving the top of the dash free for gauges in a direct line of sight.
Names Darksun. Been on here a while cause I was supposed to pick up a 1g 3 years ago. Lost my way and got a 93 240sx instead. I tried to make it a drag car. Couldn't handle the RWD thing sold that, picked up an EvoX, Did a 600whp 93 pump setup and got a 10second pass (giving me the record for...
Is there bubbles in the coolant when the radiator cap is off? turn the car on from it being cold and as it warms up watch the coolant. also you can give it a quick rev. if theres bubbles theres a chance it's a head gasket. If your lucky maybe just the hose is compromised and needs to be replaced.
