    are you talking like revving in neutral or driving the car. Because if your revving in neutral that doesnt sound right. 5-8 lbs sounds right for a stock gst. Whats the problem. Is the car not driving right under 5-8 lbs?

    oil in your intercooler pipes is there alot? sounds like blown turbo seals. leaking oil into the compressor housing. unless is coming from the intake, in which case you have a problem their. either way you need to look into it asap. could be something small.

    follow the obd port wiring to the ecu. and get back to us. also, look at the plugs them selves. Make sure none of the wires pull out of the back of the plug. But be careful not to pull too hard And look into the plugs. (you would be surprised how those things can corrode with no water....)
