Ok sorry I updated my profile.ARC 2 seems to be fine idles and cruises fine but there is no real way to tell if its doing its job during boost. Wideband is logging just fine until it breaks up and it throws a false lean. Only reason why I know its a false lean is because my plugs are jetting...
Im 90% sure br8's one thing I did notice when switching from taylor made race wires 10mm ones back to ngk wires was the misfire wasnt as violent with the taylor wires vs the ngk's. Sounds like im hitting 2 step on the ngk's.
Ok long story short car was cutting out under boost 30+ psi so I installed a ARC 2. Got everything running good Cruise/Idle go to hit boost and it does the same thing.Short list of mods
Built block / heads

Problem solved. For whoever has a similar problem in the future my problem was I had a 90 wiring harness with a 91+ igniter so my to coil signal wires were opposite of what I had thought. Switched them around and started / ran like a champ.
Replaced the coil pack / igniter with a known good working one and no change.... Went to take the spark plugs out and cylinders 2-1 the spark plugs were loose. Looked at all the spark plugs and only one had a tiny bit of fuel on it and all the rest were bone dry and no scent of fuel what so...
Ok so let me start off by saying the car ran fine before these changes occurred. I have a 89 mirage with a 4g63 swap (90 dsm). I started blowing out spark so I decided to go with a ARC 2. Installed the ARC 2 per the write up that was done on here a while ago by swapping out my 90 coil pack for a...
Well I have no A/C or heater core so I can't really do that. I'm also running 2 bottles of purple ice / 20% coolant and the rest water. Oh and my fan is always running once the key is turned on.
Most DSM's run between 190-210 all day however when I start to drive the coolant shoots past that in no time at all which is alarming. Im thinking cylinder pressure might be causing the temps to rise faster while driving vs sitting at idle. which leads me back to a HG.
Im gonna try and make this as short as possible. Im currently having a overheating issue with my 89 turbo mirage with a 1g 6 bolt 4g63 swap.1. I change the thermostat
2. Change the radiator cap
3. Got a new fan 1200cfm
4. Did the pressure relief where it circulated from the back of the...
my biss screw fell out and i opend the hood to see what i could do and i started to stick a piece of rag that was way to small into there and started to pull it out then it sucked it in. what will happen if anything?
ya i think its my ecu ### i opened it up looked at it seemed fine plugged it back in and it clicked kind of loud then the car started what does that mean?
ok so i know its not that ### when my car wants to start or does start i notice when i turn the key over so all the lights come on my stock boost guage goes up to zero then when it doesnt want to start it doesnt move at all and today unplugging the battery didnt do anything shitty......
i dont think the sensor would just randomly go bad like that. ok so the wiring that runs to the MAF plug it "T's" off and has another two prong plug in. where the hell doest that go it has always been unplugged
the other day i put a different used but good MAS on my talon tsi to see if it would help a prob but it made a new prob. when i put it on the car started right up fine i started driving the car it seemed fine but then i stopped at a light and the idle was at 1000 how i like it then i fluttered...
i cant it doesnt have the option to on this TurboXS thats why im going back to the stock BOV
also could that be a reason why im getting horrible horrible gas milage?
my car doesnt have that great of power and one of the tech's said something about my crank gear not engaging when i mash on the throttle. ### its building great boost (stock) but the car is slow as hell can that affect that?Aftermarket Parts:
TurboXS BOV
255 fuel pump
AFPR
ya. and when you ground the clips the car should go down to a lower idle anyways. well atleast mine did mine has three prongs also i grounded the one closes to the floor.
on some cars like mine unplugging that wont do anything. did your make sure you grounded the right prongs when adjusting the biss? and did you take the screw out the make sure it was good? make sure you dont have any vaccume leaks. thats what it sounds like mine did that when i had a bad gasket...
when i bought the car the temp guage worked then i drove it for a while then it stopped working then i installed a new tps since i needed one and it started working agian then recently it stopped working agian. any thoughts? and will my fans still work?
all that piece really is is a stopper for the throttle. mine was sticking at high idle when i pushed the gas pedal down it would stick at around 3000rpm and i messed with it for a little bit and found the right adjustment. do the same and see what happens and make sure your don't have a throttle...
Idk why a coolant temp sensor would make your car not start but ok....and if you had a clogged injector the car would still start. either your fuel pump is going bad or you can have a little gas leak to were it wont build enough pressure. or even check your positve and ground connections...
