I had mine in high school. No one even knew what it was and no one cared lol. My classmates had terrible taste in cars considering the girl who one "best car" for the year book had a Hummer h2 that daddy paid for. I did have one guy in my class ask if I had a v12 under the hood lol. On a side...
I think for 300 you'll be stretching it. But you might be able to find a used setup for around that much. Ebay, craigslist. Facebook groups are also good, you might want to ask around on some of those.
Got to talk to mh co-worker today about it. He said you use a black base coat because anything lighter the chameloen has a hard time covering. Its going to cost you a pretty penny he said he's almost 4k in materials alone.
I haven't had a chance to talk to my co-worker yet but from my understanding, you lay down your base coat, then you lay down your chameleon which is a just a pretty much a pearl top coat. Then you do spray a clear coat over that. I may be wrong on all of that though. Ppg makes several different...
What are you wanting to know? I work at a body shop but I've never painted chameleon. I do have a co-worker that's currently in the process of doing chameleon on his fox body so i could ask him.
In my opinion if you're going to do it, do it right the first time. If your going to get rid of the car in a few years i wouldn't waste your time and money because the car looks super clean. $500 is going to be a tight budget to do it the right way but it can be done if you do everything...
Thats a pretty big dent. The best way to fix it would be to replace the whole panel. They are welded in so its not like its just a quick replacement. It can fixed by pounding it out and using bondo but not a great a idea depending on the amount of rust there. The only reason it would be a total...
I'll chill with you bro! Lol there aren't too many people in the champaign Bloomington area that are into dsms but there's a few of us. Most are just ricers.
I would just have them weld it shut if its sawzaw width. Shouldn't affect the structural integrity. You can probably do it yourself if you feel up to it, but it looks to me that the black stuff might be under coat. If it is when you are welding it can catch on fire, just have someone under the...
If its still in the packaging id put up for 200 but i wouldn't expect people to pay much more than 150. With my mind set if someone had something for like 20-40 bucks cheaper than a vendor then I would go to the vendor for the peace of mind but that's just me.
It all depends on the amount of rust you have. Surface rust can be taken care of easily just by removing it and using the spray can stuff to prevent it for the time being. Once the rust starts to eat away at the metal there is no easy fix. When you remove the rust if the metal is even pitted a...
Yeah i wouldn't buy a car from a dealer that had mods done to it. Only for the fact that they probably don't know a thing about the mods. But that's just me.
My guess would be that it probably wouldn't work. Idk how you would be able to get the software onto the tablet and if you did i don't think most tablets use the correct operating system to run link. You could look into something like the hp elitebook. Like a laptop and tablet in one, just a...
So this is a friend of a friend. I've never seen the car in person but he showed me pictures. Its a laser with a 4g63 for sure.Him: Me and my dad built this car but we blew up the engine three timesMe: Why do you keep doing that?Him: Well we are running the turbo and nitrous. The...
About a year ago mine started making a noise like what you are describing. Kind of like a supercharger. I just kept on driving it till about 2 weeks ago when the turbo was completely blown. I suggest do a boost leak test, fix any leaks you might have and see if that changes anything.
I can probably help you out some. I'm no expert but I know some stuff. See if you can get a hold of brownfinger, he lives in normal and is more familiar with 1gs than I am.
Super sport and brownfinger, if either one of are going to MOD on the 24th a group of us are meeting at my house and then cruising there if you want to join.
In Illinois you can have 20% or lighter all around. If you have anything darker than 20% in the back you can not have tint in the front unless you have perment from your doctor for eyes sensitive to light. I work at best buy and have never heard of any store offering tint jobs so that is odd.
Recently painted, use to be Monarch Green its now BMW Interlagos Blue Metallic.
sorry bad picture quality but at least you can click on the image to make it bigger ROFL
Wasn't really that funny but I can see how someone thought it was. Very rude and immature, I bet these are the same kind of guys that drive around and shoot people with paintball guns, now is that funny?
yes there is more to come. I have to email the pictures from my phone to my email and then resize them but it doesnt want to send my last two emailsOk I cant upload a ton of pictures, so I said screw the pics of the prep work and here is the final out come. The car still needs to be wet sanded...
Last September I got into a small front end collision. If you were at Factory MOD 2010 I was the guy with W.T.F. on the hood. Luckily for me I go to school for collision repair, so when I got around to fixing the car I thought why not give it a new color. The color is BMW Interlagos Blue...
I think you are correct here. I work at Best Buy and every Sunday we have to go around and change tags for prices. If we miss one and say the tag said $50 but rang up as $100 at the registers we have to give that customer the product for $50 otherwise we would get in trouble for false advertisement.
