Who am I to doubt the great Defiant?On a side note, did all GSXs come with a keyless entry/alarm? I've never had a remote for my car, I've always just used the key. When I was checking fuses I did find one for an alarm, but I guess they could have just put the fuse in alarm or not to save time.

I think I will pick up a manual or the cd dealie, I'm working on my car often enough that it would come in handy and probably help me get things dome twice as quick. It just that I've always had the mentality that the problem I was working to fix would be the last and my car would be golden...

The thing is I don't have anything extra drawing power. I can only assume I have a short in a wire somewhere or a relay is blown. My car is drivable but I have to pop the hood to start my car. I would like to find what is causing my problem rather than just finding a way around it.

Yeah, looking at it again I missed a wire that diverges from the bundle that goes between the starter and battery.Ok, but now that I know my problem is that I'm not getting power from the smaller wire that clips onto the solenoid, am I really any closer to figuring this problem out?

I need to remove my starter and I can't for the life of me find the two bolts that hold it in place. All I can see, or feel for that matter, are the two screws going into the solenoid. Can anyone clearly explain where the bolts are, or post a diagram from a service manual? Thanks

I can see a loss in mpg do to the missing o2 senssor.Has anyone tried putting a muffler where the cat is, that might deal with the sound issue and if you weld on a o2 bung that might solve the gas issue as well. Just a thought.

I just saw the manifold on ebay and have never heard of pacesetter before and was wonder if it could really be a good manifold for cheap as heck. but I think I am going to either port my 2g or get a ported EVO one. Is there a difference between the EVO and the 2g manifold structurally or...

I bought my GST on eBay from GA and drove back to AZ that trip was about 2000 miles and I spent three days driving. Then when I got my GSX, again on eBay, I drove it from AR to AZ which was about 1500 miles and I did that in just 23 hours. On both trips never once experienced any problems.
