If you have an non-turbo auto eclipse .. Don't expect to keep up with your friend unless you go turbo.. Even then a604 is not that good of a transmission for performance.. Even if you drop 3k at ipt you get lucky if you get around 300whp before it go boom. I know this because I once had an 99...

Hmm... My oil feed side has this metal piece that sticks out that looks to be casted on... While all the hx35 ones I see online have like a flat fitting..

Noob here as in first car I'm doing work on... I have a question regarding the oil feed to a Wh1c the fitting looks different to the one of the Hx35. So my question is how do I go about setting up a oil feed line to the fitting?

Another thing the a604 is not a tranny you want to push. If serious about turbo charging it better look into a 5 speed swap, and that is added expense to your money tight project.
