My 91 Talon TSi AWD automatic, which was my first car, I paid $1900 for it. I found it on craigslist and was originally searching for DA integras at the time (2009). I drove that for about 3 years till it crapped out in early 2011. While I was fixing/building the 91 I decided I needed another...
My 1g had a scosche radio install kit in it when i bought it. It's a walmart brand by the way. Basically it's a dual din plastic piece where you mount the headunit into. You put it in the upper slot and the lower serves as a storage compartment, or at least that's how I have mine setup. Then you...
I think simple 5 spoke wheels would look good. My favorite wheels that I picked up on a budget (profile pic) would be the 2G gst 5 spokes. I got them in a junkyard and traded in some old ugly wheels that had screw on center caps LOL.
Maybe the multifunction switch on the column is shorted to power keeping the parking lights on? I would try swapping the relays and if that doesn't work, unplug the switch.
I actually have the sidemount intercooler pipes made by CXRacing and they're not too bad. I bought them from Punishment racing though cause I thought it would be better to give them the business. Mainly I've heard the manifolds they sell don't last and neither do their turbos. There is a couple...
The link I posted should help you out. Basically it sounds like it's an outdated design that flows good at the expense of cooling efficiency where as a bar and plate style core would flow less being more restrictive allowing the air more time to cool as it passes through the intercooler. Not...
I personally would not buy one because the CXRacing manifolds are cheap, and the DSMGraveyard has some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. It took them three weeks to send me a gasket and I even called/emailed a countless number of times to see what the hold up was I never got...
+1 on having a car that's different. I think the basket and lights would look sick especially with the bed liner paint you already have. Maybe you could even throw a spare tire up there in case we do actually have an end of the world apocalypse and you run over some sharp objects lol. :hellyeah...
That wrinkle black looks awesome! :rocks: I like the blow off valve too, I have one that I polished and painted the top metallic purple just cause I liked the look and had extra paint left over from a valve cover I did.
It looks different without a dash that's for sure. I think a custom suede covered dash would be pretty sweet. At least something more round in shape than the stock 1G dash. Not that there's anything wrong with stock, but it could be improved upon.
It doesn't seem all that work is worth it just have your radio stay on with the key out. Newer cars, as stated before, use a body control module to do this. They have a RAP relay (retained accessory power) or sometimes a separate module which works off a timer of usually 10 minutes or so. I...
I would do one thing at a time. If your buddy is sending you a good mass air flow sensor put that on and see if it makes any difference, and if it doesn't at least you eliminated one possible cause to your problem. Plus it's easy to do. The idle air control valve would also be a good start since...
Wow, you're from Sheboygan too :rocks:. Anyways, my 91 just started having this same problem as of yesterday. I've been trying to figure out the problem all day with no luck. I originally thought it was because of the egr valve being stuck open, but blocking that off did nothing. I'm going to do...
