man if you're going to open up a shop in the sacramento area, you should not only do tuning, dynos and dsm, but do actual mechanical repairs too and also open up to other cars beside dsm. look at Driven Authority, they seemed to be doing very well.
if i were you, i would just specialize in chassis fab because you can use that anywhere when you get out. just for that money, i wish i could have gone to a local community college to do automotives because alot of the other students came out, they were jobless for years, some even got desperate...
if that is so then go for it, one of my dsm pals went to uti and is now working at ford making $19 per hour and is flat rate, but from my experience, i think you will be better off doing interns at local small shops just to get the know how and use them on your resume and that will get your foot...

no it hasn't been going in a while, but me and a few other friends started to get together and star cruising and do photoshoots, if you're down just show up on chevrons off west sacramento enterprise exit and we do a little wangan to davis. kast week a few cars showed up and it was fun... we had...
i had that same problem, what i did was replaced my radiator, but if anything you should do a full flush and bleed the coolant really well and check all the lines and hose for leaks. do the thermostat and pressure cap while you're at it
put the cat on and make sure nothing else is wrong with any of your emission components. test drive it and drive the car hard to heat up the cat. leave the car on when u get to the smog station and it will increase your chances of passing. as long as no check engine light appears and they put...
the dsm meets don't happen so often in sac anymore. it's become more of a all car meet every other weekend. you should come out! they meet at fry's or near B.J.'s
man you are shit out of luck. there is one in west sacramento but its a campus wyotech, and another at UTI north of sacramento. that's where one of my buddies did their dyno and there isn't any other i can think of. there's a popular one in Union city out in the bay call Full Function Tuning...
could be a worn motor mount or tranny mount. this could cause an uneven alignment between the engine from clutch to flywheel. and especially when it's hot. just my opinion.
i have a 92 gst muffler, should work if you are planning on welding it, you could pick it up for 40, it comes with the dual polished tips. i'm in the sacramento area, let me know
the experience was good, it was just expensive. and some of the classmates aren't as nice or tough working as you would expect them to be. i went to the one in west sacramento and got done within 9 months but the recession made it very hard to find a job today. so doing an internship and working...
make sure you guys don't slack off like i did when i went, i just had really bad attendance and that brought my grade down so be there every single day.
