Ive had the speedsensor installed, no speedometer whatsoever. If i position the gear somewhat canted it hits a wall, my guess would be the drive gear. The car was boosting fine with no working speed sensor. Just annoying not having the speed show directly in front of your face.

On obd2 though its not the diagnostic pin in the engine bay i believe, so what im wondering is if there is a way to ground out the pin at the diagnostic plug (aka under the dash).

Is there a way of grounding the diagnostic pin without using a scan tool? Like connecting a wire to a certain pin and grounding that out? Just trying to see if I can do this without a tool. Also would the scan tools from autozone work for this purpose?

One thing i would worry about with the apex n1 is the aluminized backside of the muffler. Mine rotted out after about 18 months and have known several others with this issue. If it rains or snows in your area you need to go with a muffler that is all stainless. Otherwise it will rust and weaken...
