Probably should search a bit, because Balance shaft removal has been well covered over the years. Like I recommend checking out the VFAQ How To on it.

My wagon has a high comp 4g54b dual sidedraft carburetor and 5spd now. A whole 1000cc more from the 1.6l 4g32 that was originally in it. My 76 Coupe has a 2.3l g63t swap that has been put on hold temporarily.
Bellingham! Though I haven't owned a DSM in many years and scrapped my GVR4 a few years ago, just playing with my Old School 2G Galants these days or helping my roommate with his 1G Lancers.:hellyeah:1 Galant Wagon and 3 Lancers
I put some work in the blue one, not that much. I've put more into the red one to get it back on the road :) and now I have the spare wagon doors & hatch, dash pad for the Coupe and misc spare parts for both cars. Yep the Yellow one is still at BOSS, still got another $4k or so of parts to order...
Lol the blue '77 wagon was never getting g63t swapped and actually as a week ago it got scrapped! Picked up a '75 redish orange wagon a few months back and pulled the 4g52 out of the blue '77 one to replace the red car's rod knockin 4g32 lol.Actually we aren't similar lol, your's is a...
Well mine(not a dsm) in particular was in running order before, I needed a chassis to put the 2.3l I was building for my gvr4 (rust bucket), so i decided to drop it in my 76 colt galant coupe which then has now required pretty much building up the entire car from engine and Supra trans to rear...
Lol you think we get paid a lot or something? ROFL, unless they sold it for $500.There's a fiji blue SHP in the local junkyard here, I was going to pull the trans out of it until I saw that it was a auto:notgood:.
Damn almost a year later and I would have thought you would already be over here lol. So going from a Hick town to Built up Suburbia, more so if you end up in Bellevue. Bellevue is cluster#### sometimes lol.
Which one of you clowns around Joke harbor bought it off my buddy? Just curious to where it found it's new home...and I have the front calipers for it sitting in a bin of parts lol.
My buddy is selling his, in which I sold to him a while back, but he's moving so it needs a new home or its off to the junkyard for good.
It's a 91 shell, needs a motor.
Don't get me wrong, GGSXs are pretty cool and are fewer than the 3009 VR4s that came to the states, but unless it's stock in good shape or turbo swapped correctly then it's nothing to be excited about. If you got one, and wanted to swap you would need for starters
Turbo Engine
Turbo accessory...
Don't confuse Galant GSX with Galant VR4 lol, two different models, Galant GSXs were AWD NA.I'll agree with Jesse this car was beat to hell, hit something with the front end. It's missing the Radiator support, you can see the hood has a crease in the middle edge, there is no reason why that...
Like some have said, not everyone's mentality is of building a racecar, some cars can pull it off others can't. IMO a DSM isn't one of those cars that can pull off a slammed/stanced/hellaflush or whatever look, something older and smaller like a 510 or RA21 Celica, TE72 Corolla, etc can. I'm...
I have a bunch of misc parts, intake manifold, ac crap, awd gas tank, and only the left motor mount piece (someone wanted it but they never got back to me on it), etc.Where in Joke Harbor are you? I'm helping a buddy put together a 91 awd that I sold to him. I live right near Jack n box.
I'll go back through the extra crap I have, I do have another 23 spline tcase, however it needs a rebuild if that's at all possible otherwise it's a perfect doorstop lol. That's why I didn't mention it to you, I figured you wanted a working one lol. I have 2 or 3 AC compressors &tensioner...
lol, Like I told Andy yesterday afternoon, car ended up in a good home and should be back on the road in a few months. A friend ended up buying it from me, for now it's sitting at my place. :thumb:The Car did it's best to say "#### you, you ain't taking me to the crusher".
It's got grey leather seats, driver side has a couple tears (normal wear), clear coat coming off on the rear bumper. Front subframe needs new bushings installed, tie rod installed on one side, calipers bolted bolted back on the fronts and a new engine harness. Hood, bumper, lights around pop...
Maybe, picking up a 91 TSI AWD shell, question is will there be any interest in the North end WA area for parts? I'd be helping a friend out to get it out of his hands and grab a few parts like the engine harness for myself, would anyone else want the shell before I send it to Arlington Pick n...
Probably a good thing drift competition was removed, because that's simply something that shouldn't be used in the same sentence as DSM or Evo.This sounds like the west coast version of Buschur's DSM/Evo shootout, only kinda weird that you have it going through to Monday. Better off just...
