The NGK BPR6ES. This is what the majority of DSM'ers who don't have too many mods or are running fairly low boost will tend to use. Also upgrade your wires to some NGK's.
Example:
Stock car, T25/14b, 12-15 psi, upgraded intake/exhaust: 6ES

Maybe when those cars first came out they were some money but that car with 106,000 miles in my opinion isnt worth that. Plus they are pain to work on. I do like the looks of the car and it would be a nice daily driver. But for 22 grand i could find a better car. Possibly a older skyline

Hey man, just irebuilt me head and installed my 264/272 reground cams and didnt use the shims. Havent had any issues. But i also used new 3g lifters which i believe are slighty taller than stock. Are you still using the stick lifters
Dont use the MLS headgasket unless your block has been machined FLAT!!!!!! Use the stock felpro composite headgasket with ARP head studs torqued in 3 stages to 80lbs. I
The grease keeps it from binding and wearing on the parts. If the boots are cracked and loosing grease then they will fail eventually but doesnt mean there blown. Just take it easy on them until you get replacments.
