Hey there Kevin, I know this is off-topic, but what are the chances I can get a set of the sandwich mounting plates separately?
I would love to add them to the set that is currently on the car, never really liked how I half-assed it without the sandwich plate. Thanks for supporting these old...
With the wheels powdercoated and the car looking okay for now, it was time to get started with "power" mods. Mind you, all this time I was still driving the car all around the country. And racing it!Somewhere in Eastern Washington

CorrectThank you, it took me a while to be able to appreciate it, but now I wouldnt have it any other way.First things first, the car needed rear tires. Fronts were brand new and this guy was driving around on worn to piss tires in the rear. OMG Picked up some Hankooks and the car was...

Ten years of History/pictures to go through and collect, so I want to be thorough in capturing the journey for this, bear with me.Lets take it back to August of '08, or, for one...

Goodness gracious, it is so damned tempting to buy some of your 1g goodies right now for my Laser. It really is an exercise in self control to keep that damn car stock.
Depending on the amount of damage it will probably cost you more to repair/clean yours, than to just buy a new-to-you gas tank.
Going through the proper steps to ensure the rust is cleaned up and prevented from spreading is expensive and time consuming.
I have put together an email to inquire on his interest. From what I see on his channel he has not yet found one to review. My Laser is pretty damned fresh so we will see if it piques his interest.1994 Plymouth Laser RS. Bone stock beauty! by Beau Anderson, on Flickr
Damn it man. I would love to have him test drive my Bone stock 94 Laser RS. But he is in Philly and Im in Central California. Does he travel to do car reviews? Haha.
Best recent shot, first show in over two years, back in September at IFO Bakersfield. Need to get this car going!IFO Bakersfield first show in 2 years with the old girl! by Beau Anderson, on Flickr

2gs have always pushed through corners. Nothing new here. The sensation/motion may just be exacerbated by the bumps, but its likely present throughout the entire corner.
Based on that fact that your reply was 6 days after my original post im going to guess if there are many Central Valley DSM'ers that they arent active on the forums. Damn you Facebook. Do you Bay Area folks have very many DSM themed events to attend? Im going to assume no, but cross my fingers...
This is almost exactly what I was going to say. If youre in there to do the work, do the work once and be done with it. You wont regret an upgrade to aluminum subframe bushings.
Hey there regionally inclined DSMers. I too have joined the Central Valley DSM scene and would like to make a DSM event or gathering a regular thing around here. Im living in Madera with my 97 AWD Talon and my 92 Laser RS, also my GF and our dog. But shes a DSMer, the GF not the dog, so we would...
Im about 3.5 hours south of you (Fresno area) and a buddy of mine has hinted at selling his all stock 95 AWD with 12x,xxx miles on it. Manual car, Monarch green color (IIRC) brand new water pump and timing belt just installed 3 months ago. If you're interested I can send him your way.
While the turbines/compressors may have changed over the years, its still in a TD05 Housing and as far as sizing comparisons go thats more than reason enough for it to still be a TD05. Bolts up with a Mitsu flange and has a 5 bolt DP flange? TD05. I digress.Id like to buy one for the Laser I...
For anyone interested in getting in on some 68HTA action. These bad dogs are currently on sale straight from FP, give them a call today and get you a TD05 powerhouse that is sure to put a very large grin on your face for years to come. $699 Unported, $749 ported. That less than I paid for mine...
I had no inclination to get into a DSM before my brother told me that I "had to buy the one sitting on a consignment lot" a couple towns over. We went to look at it and the damn thing was amrked at $7k with 234k miles on it, beautiful and all as it was a 97 AWD Talon i wasnt about to pay that...
I cant express how thankful I am for a careful and cautious owner like John A. This car is everything I hoped it would be and I can only hope to treat it as well as you did for so many years. It was a real pleasure doing business with you John. And just like that, the Laser has a brother...
Better late than never. Put me down for a set of front uppers. This is based on the stipulation that they arent ready until February of '18, as Im tapped on DSM budgets right now. lolThose arms are looking sick Bobby!
Im actually in California for the time being, so she stays in CA for now. haha.It is no longer available, Im the lucky winner who scooped it up already. :hellyeah:
Same here. 5-6 years of autoxing, drag racing, and a couple hillclimbs and ive never had a performance issue out of my 4 corner Evo Brembo setup on stock Booster/MC
Congrats to Kevin and Erin Kwiatkowski of Kiggly racing on the new personal best for the Kiggly Racing FWD missile! The car couldnt quite sort itself out in Norwalk at the 25th Annual Shootout but Kevin and Erin werent having any of it. They dialed her in and let her eat yesterday at Milan...
Damn it Kevin, if only I had another DSM to put these on. lol. Glad to see youre providing more of this quality product to us gracious DSMers. Compworks FTW!
Oil preferences should be based on engine clearances when assembled. Not temperature of his location. If its an old motor and things are starting to wear down, thicker oil will be healthy. This, google a boost leak test so you can make/buy a tester and found where your vacuum noise is coming from.
My car has 300k miles on it, was my daily driver for years traveling across the country for work. And I have done nothing but go fast bits, The only thing that is still stock is transmission. Haha. That being said, I have saved the paint for very last so I can invest every bit of energy into...
Detail was spot on with his answer. And it is not necessary to remove the headlights. (I know it can be a PITA if they havent been taken off before) Just be sure to mask off the area underneath the headlights so you dont get anything on the paint. Even then it would remove the same with mineral...
One trick my dad taught me growing up was to use baby oil. A few regular applications over the course of a month and it will stay good for about a year. I will be using tricks like this soon to get my car ready for MOD in Cypress, CA, lol.
What Blurred Talon said, I recently finished installing an Air Lift Performance V2 Digital setup on my DD (2012 VW CC) and it was not a cheap endeavor, i didnt want to ruin the bumper by being low all the time and I work construction, so some job sites can be pretty hairy to get in and out of...
