I think everyone is pretty much doing their own thing these days, I miss all the DSMers I used to kick it with but we're all getting older and have different stuff going on. My 1g just sits in the garage most of the time, I don't even drive much anymore.

2 things - a boost controller will generally fail you, and when they put your car on the rollers to load test they hold the revs at a certain rpm with a gas pedal gun. They never get into boost period. I'm on a 14b at 18psi and I didn't see him get even remotely close to getting into boost. I...

Generally if you can feel the scratch with your fingernail you're not gonna be able to buff it out (without a wetsand, assuming its just in the clear and not the paint.)
I can only speak from experience, and my experience is that the PR kit fits terribly on a 90 Talon AWD. I had to do so much cutting and modding that I might as well have gone with an ETS kit. (Well, that's what was running through my mind the whole time.)
The whole CTS/CAS area gets a lot of heat from the motor, so yeah the wires to the CTS were brittle and cracking. Pulled the pins out of the connectors and resoldered them all so they're solid now. The reason why I suspect the CAS is pretty new is for the same reason I just mentioned - old CASes...
