Is this the first case? Are there any other documented incidents? I have ran mine for about 2000 miles and also well over 35 passes down the track. I will however take this into consideration and replace with longer bolts. Just interested to see how many times this has actually happened.
I'd check the wiring for the SAFC and Turbo Timer just to make sure they are still connected properly. Something could have came loose hooking the clamps on the jumper cables to the battery terminals. If anything did happen to the SAFC and Turbo Timer, you could save yourself some money...
Tune for reliability and ignore the overall power output... Your setup should net you around 300. Just tell your tuner everything that you are telling us here...
The guy I bought mine from had it sitting for a year... Took 6 months for me to get everything together the way i wanted it... ran it for the summer (only about 2k miles) about 50 passes at the track and now it's torn down to the shell for weight reduction and other modifications... got to...
Mines routed the same... just to the can (in my case a Monster can) no check valves no routing to the intake. Never had an issue... Catch cans are too easy...
Your going to be on your own for this one. use a nice lightwieght wood and some fabric from any craft store and go to town.... maybe do a DIY and the next guy looking has an idea of what to do... I did the stripped race car look....
You are probably going to lose fluids during the swap. Depends on how much you tilt the engine and trans. The tcase should leak anything out. You should have to lube the drive shaft when placing it back in the tcase.
For someone new to tuning, a chipped ECU would be the best route. I wouldn't recommend tuning Software like AEM or DSMLink to anyone who doesn't want to spend the money on having someone else tune the car. You can get a tune embedded into a chip based on the mods you have/plan to have, the...
Are you refering to the angle of the muffler/exhaust or just the tip? Megan racing exhausts on the GSX/TSI are slightly angled to keep flow from the turbo as straight as possible. You where asking about NA car so I assume that your car is NA, not sure how the NA cars are routed.here's a...
google search your local area for paint supply shops, not the actually body shops, but the guys who supply those shops. Go in, tell them you are a beginner, ask them what they recommend a beginner to buy to learn to paint. You can always upgrade in the future. For me painting is the easiest...
I've been lurking around for sometime, purchased a few things from the classifieds, posted a few posts in the regionals (Tri-State Area), but would like to leave feedback for some of the purchases that I made here, for the good people that I bought them from, so here starts my mission to gain 30...
That's where we ended up, the Mohawk St. McDonalds. It wasn't a large crowd, but it's the end of the season and cold as f**k out so it's expected... Lots of Honda's LOL. Just mine and my buddy's DSM's...

we (cny1320) refer to it as "The Shop", no name has been given to it, it's just a large garage for us to do DIY projects, nothing major... We are still trying to come up with a good name for it...-Steve
I'm down, I will be at ESTA around 9-10am, I have to go to an appointment at 1 in Syracuse, which means that I am leaving ESTA around 12-1230, not sure how long I will be gone, I will either go back to ESTA or go to straight to "The Shop".... Planned time to meet at the shop is 5pm, (1288 West...
I've heard rumors that there is one running around utica/rome area, if that is where you saw it, then it was not mine... But if you see it again please let me know, I want to race it for rights of the pink wheels...-Steve
