Ok update, i filled the trans with some heavy 85-150 gear lube for now, the shift fork when you shift into 5th seems weird, if i push on the gear with my finger 5th engages. its like the assembly between the 5th shift fork is wobbly?Does anyone have a pic of the entire 5th assembly apart so...
Ok i have torqued the end nuts down, adjusted the cables, at slow speeds about 25 mph it will go in 5th with a little grinding, but at 55 mph it will not for anything go in.

Most likely yes, using power steering fluid is not good, it can burn seals. and cause pump over heating. so yes drain completely and then use atf dexron 2.I had a lexus es 300 the FSM called for atf fluid, i used power steering fluid just cause i had it, needles to say a week or so later up...
Well whats your setup? 550's are capable of some good numbers so id imagine those would be good for more than 400 hp but its all about the tune.Do you have any tuning device?
Well i got this car not knowing it was a flood car but i have fixed about everything but the dome and floor lights they stay on all the time except with key in ignition in the ACC or ON position. until you take the key out they come back on and stay. need to figure out how to fix this. door...

600's will be good with a afc but 800's are pretty much useless to tune with a afc, if they are 600cc then those i believe are roughly 27% bigger than 450cc as for throttle points, its best to set it at like 79 lo and 80 hi so that way it dont have to calculate the adjustments between 30 lo and...

Well i have 1-4 and R the trans DOES have 5th gear but it grinds to all hell but if i jam punch it in and let the clutch out it grinds 3-4 times then grabs. but then on decel it pops out. i pulled the cover and it has thick brown goo with looks like water??? checked everything out no chipped...
