that doesnt look as bad as i thought it would.so from what is mentioned, you need to make new brackets to bolt the headlights on?x2 on the pics showing how you mounted the headlights IRO.
welcome to my nightmare lol. im still searching for one as well. a few sellers on ebay had them a while back and now that im ready to get one they are gone. only ones ive seen over the past few days were cracked or seller did not want to ship.almost going to make me convert the front end to...
haha thanks lando. cause i was sitting here like " all this wasnt in the same thread last night! wft is goin on??" lol.cutting the front bumper looks good if you take your time. but there is a fine line when going too far imho, like the red 1gb above, it just looks half done.
looks good.but why modify the stock seats? they dont have as much of a support that an aftermarket seat would give you. unless your a big guy and cant fit in a race bucket/seat with comfort. ( not trying to clown, being serious ).
its possible. but dont be surprised if you go to get your smog check and it comes back as "systems/sensors not ready". some obd II cars need to be driven for a little bit for the pcm to determain if the sensors are indeed "ready" after clearing codes.
interesting, my side door molding on my 1ga looks like a piece of bacon ( came with the car that way, currently uninstalled of course ). ill give this a try before searching for a replacement!
why not just use a different tire size and repaint your current wheels to go with your scheme? (besides the fact that you like how the gs/gst wheels look). IMHO if your not going to make money on the deal, keep what you got.
dont worry about how much you may or may not know. we all started somewhere bro. ill be out there as well. just gotta register the talon first lol. dont need it seeing an impound lot anytime soon.
yea looks like he used one toggle switch per side to adjust the height. not bad for a homemade kit. basicly just added a 3rd party switch to power the headlight motors. only thing that sucks is it keeps the lights where ever you have them set at rather than allowing them to go all the way down...
Does anyone know where i can find a new bushing? Seems the tool who had the car before me too the shifter out once upon a time and decided to not put it back in. :notgood:pic of what im talking about taken from the vfaq. its circled in the pics.thanks in advance. :talon:
if you crossed the positive and negative terminals you may need to go through your wiring harness and see if you burned anything up. crack open the ecu and make sure nothing in it got damaged from you mixing up the terminals.
OP - have you gone back to make sure all of your connections are tight and secure? and since you say it was fine until it sat for a month, have you checked the voltage of the battery?
I was just curious as ive never seen their "kit" before. Im always down to piece together my own kit and save a few hundred to spend on tuning and fuel ( thats what i did for my SRT-4's big turbo kit in the past).and you put up some very good info. :thumb: think ive found my ultimate upgrade...

what about cleaning out the rain gutters in the hatch ( if there are any). i recalled some other people from different boards having similar issues with water in the hatch and majority of them had clogged gutters ( full of leaves and what not ). might want to give that a shot.
